Hello Everyone,

This week I have decided I need to get serious and get myself back up to Auric Gold. To do this I need to start understanding the different decks better and finding monsters that compliment each other.

Thanks to the help of @daje10 who gave me some tips and suggested an Amazon deck. I have managed to get back into Auric Gold and so far managed to stay there.

First of all I could not get all the required cards so played with what best I could and then used my trusty Zombie Deck on the weekend ranking. Then from Sunday I managed to fully equip my Amazon deck and battle my way back to Auric Gold.

My deck is worth 0,0051 ETH ($9,44) so is pretty budget friendly too.

It is hard to say what is my favorite card, but I am keen on filling the board and then trying to use Firewine to finish my opponent off.

If I cannot hold the board, then usually things start going pear shaped quickly. As you can see though, so far my win rate is pretty good.

Weekend Ranked

In the weekend ranking, my struggles continue with just 10 wins from 18 and no coveted MJ Rare packs. I haven't had any MJ Rare packs for a while now and need to turn this around. However, you can now see the jump in my ranking and I hope by Friday I can start to get some better results.

My Collection and Earnings

Since my last update, I have jumped 4 levels to 102 and my collection is worth now 364 $GODS. This was a big jump because I bought my Amazon cards with ETH this week.

Among those were some of my first Band of the Wolf cards including Divya, who was my most expensive buy for a while at 0.002707 ETH or $5,15.

I don't know how I qualified, but I also got this Band of the Wolf War Banner dropped to me.

Amazon - Today's Battle

This week's battle is one where I am still warming up the deck at rank 8 and you can see how well the deck comes togther. Now at rank 9 it is still holding its own.

1 Mana

I start first and consider to risk playing Beastfury Protege or my hidden monster that shouldn't get destroyed easily. My opponent plays a spell giving me control of the board.

2 Mana

I play the Beastfury Protege who could have been played in the first round. My opponent plays his first card but it doesn't look so strong. Is he luring me into a false sense of security?

3 Mana

I play Gersermi and he gives Regen +1 to my board. My Beastfury Protege is attacked and killed. :(

4 Mana

I play my Backsworn Hunter who takes out my enemy. My opponent just covers his god with some shield and plays no cards.

5 Mana

I bring out Divya who strengthens my attack but he then gets turned into a rat... I really hat that rat card.

6 Mana

I should have finished my opponent here, but it matters not as he does'nt have any answer to my attack by now.

Summary

The Amazon deck may not be the strongest, but it is a fun deck to play with many synergies between cards being activated. I have been caught out a few times if my opponent plays heavy magic or a very strong Light deck with cards that manage to control the board early on. I could beat the nature deck of @thecyberdexter, but his light deck was too powerful, even with me giving him a lot of aggro.

You can see after 16 games, I have a nice win ratio. Let's see how that holds up now in Auric Gold. Before I had my current nature deck, the win ratio wasn't so bad either. I made a few tweaks to my Zombie deck again and it is still 50/50. I need to try and think about how to improve it abit more.
