In-Game Footage of PSYBERX Revealed

The price of LVL, the token of the Play-to-Earn game PSYBERX, skyrocketed in the last few days. On this occasion, I would like to write about PSYBERX, a first-person shooter game set in a cyberpunk environment.

PSYBERX is a Battle Royale game developed by Royal Reptile Studios. Justin Moore (@saltyreptile) is the founder and CEO of Royal Reptile Studios.

The PSYBERX project was introduced to the Hive community about 6 months ago. The reason why the game caught my attention was that it was set in a cyberpunk environment. I liked the colors, lights, shadows, and reflections used in the setting. The link to the official trailer of the @psyberx is below.

Although Fortnite-style Battle Royal games are not my style, I invested in the LVL token as I admire the cyberpunk atmosphere created in the game.

LVL Tokenomics, NFTs and In-Game Reveal

The total amount of LVL, PSYBERX's token offered for sale on the Hive Engine, is 500,000,000. Half of this amount is gradually offered for sale to the Hive community. I couldn't catch the early bulk sales, I bought my current LVL tokens through Leodex. The LVL token will have a role beyond being PSYBERX's in-game token. A game ecosystem will be created around LVL.

Those who HODL 200,000 LVL tokens will be eligible to win 1 Psyber Crate containing 5 NFTs each month. NFT example:

The total market capitalization of the LVL token has reached $3 million. An ambitious market value for a newly produced game. On the other hand, considering the market value of Splinterlands' in-game token, SPS, is $45 million, it seems that LVL still has upside potential.

In a few months, NFTs of the game will be available for sale. The game is expected to be released in mid-2022. Very pleasing developments for the Hive community.

Conclusion

Various criticisms have been made in the past about Royal Reptile Studios, the producer of the game. The first criticism was that the studio did not have enough experience to carry out such a large project. Another criticism was about the use of Unity gaming engine digital assets in the demos. (I think it is reasonable to adopt the assets of the Unity ecosystem creatively)

To be cautious, I did not post about PSYBERX, although I have personally invested. I started writing about PSYBERX after I was convinced that things were going as planned after the in-game footage reveal.

Does it make sense to get LVL from this level? Although the price has risen quite a lot, we now have a project that has become flesh and bone. So it is not easy to decide. Instead of making direct purchases, it is possible to invest in tokens or Beeswap pools that provide access to LVL. @oneup-cartel, which I introduced recently, is the first token that comes to mind with its 1 million LVL. The year 2022 seems to be very fruitful for Hive.
