I Opened 100 dCrops Alpha Packs

I opened them a couple of hours ago, not when there were many of them to go around. So why did I do such a ridiculous thing? Don't each unopened alpha pack provide 2000 Crop Power? I'll answer all your questions young farmer don't worry.

Yes, if you open a pack it is a net loss of crop power even if you get 5 legendaries from a pack since each legendary is 50 crop power (half of that if they are inactive.) So why did I open them? The answer is simple, inflation of crop power. If you have tons of cards, you can earn tons of CROP tokens and if you add to that calculation that with each passing season that total amount of crop token reward decreases by 0.5%, it is good to have cards right now and get as much CROP token possible.

Because your packs sit there and do not increase in crop power, they are static. You could easily get over-taken by a farmer that has much more cards than you. Yes, their value goes up on a HIVE basis, but so do the value of cards with the influx of new players.

In short, I sacrificed my short term gains for long term ones. Is it risky? Quite possibly but I enjoy playing dCrops. There would always be risks with every investment, and every action. So, why not have fun while taking risks? I have been playing dCrops for almost over a month now and I see a bright future for the project.

I don't really like beating around the bush and prefer to be concise, so that is why most of my posts are really short. Hopefully, you guys appreciate it. And, sorry if this was not verbose enough for you.
