Nothing sets the mood better than watching an old horror movie during a thunderstorm. Especially when it’s one of those 80s movies that fucks kids up as they watch it.

I’m not talking about the blood, or sexual promiscuity (which is basically missing in this flick).

I’m talking about a movie that gets you hyped for college when you’re a wee, young buck. Fatal Exam basically makes you think that:

College is straight shit & a waste of time, maybe not way back when in 1985 (when movie was made not released), but damn sure not in the modern era!

This movie sees college students in a parapsychology course travel to a haunted mansion to conduct experiments for their final project.

The home was inhabited by Malcolm Nostrand who hacked the shit out of his entire family 2 years ago with a godamn HeMan Sword.

The students begin their investigation & find themselves straight fucked.

Online you will find many plebs who bitch about the length of this movie. It’s almost 2 hours long.

However, because it’s quirky & takes the time to set the mood by following the students as they conduct their research, it doesn’t come off as wasted.

The characters might seem bland to the untrained pleb, combine that with the really REALLY fucked up dubbing (it’s in English but when they mixed the sound its totally off), but we ended loving it all. Feels like these cats should be in their own video game, & no shit it does seem like it belongs in The Uninvited universe based on all the sorcery shit.

In many ways this is a more realized version of WitchTrap, if that film had added another half hour or so.

MRHELLBOX – Loved it! The dialogue when the dude finds the head in the coffee table, thats exactly how someone would really react! Oh, always bring a shovel bitch. - 5/5

DRUNKEN MASTER – I knew this shit was filmed in 1985, you don’t have moustaches & beer can tops like that in 1990 unless you’re at the country music bar. – 4/5

PRINCE PECTORALS – Everyone was either jacked or healthy. Fuck, even that one chick was doing stretches as soon as she woke up. No days off in this bitch! – 4/5
