Assalamu Alaikum. Friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is having a great day by the grace of Allah. I am also well, Alhamdulillah. Due to various busy schedules, I am quite late in sharing my diy theme ideas with you. Still, I always want to present something new to you where there will be some touch of novelty and something that everyone will like. Today I will show you how to make a jewelry with modelling clay. I have started a new work with these clays, so I tried my best. I made the necklace in the theme of sunflower. After painting and varnishing the jewelry, it seemed that it must have been bought from a market. So let's see how we can easily make a jewelry at home.This jwelery looks very stylish when were with sarees.

This things i used :
Dozen modelling clay
Necessary plastic tools
Plastic lid
Yarn
B-7000 glue
Gesso/primer
Varnish
Acrylic color
Brushes
Color palat
Twinkle star

Step by step making process

These clays are just like clay.They can be shaped as desired. First, I kneaded some clay into a ball. Then, I shaped them into small, evenly sized balls and pressed them into the shape of sunflower petals. In this way, I made many petals of the same size.

This time I have made a base for the petals to be placed on. For this I have made some clay balls and flattened them by pressing them.

Then, with the help of Fabicol glue, I arranged the petals one by one on this round shape in the first step. Then, to prevent the petals from moving downwards in the upper step, I took some clay and made it into a thin long shape.Then, I placed it on top of the petals in a round shape.

This time, I placed the petals of the second step one by one on top of the ring. Once they were placed on the top, I made a small round shape again and made the middle a little wider.

Then i tried to bring the shape of the seeds in the middle of the sunflower. I made small holes in this part with the help of a compass. Then I cut the petals into thin strips using an angle cutter, just like sunflower petals.

This time I took some more clay and shaped it into small balls and then made holes in the middle of them using a plastic tool. Using these to make a necklace will make the necklace look even more beautiful.

Then I dried this flower and the small rings for about 24 hours.They don't need sunlight to dry, just leave them indoors and they will dry and become much harder.

After drying, I painted the sunflower to make the flower. I painted the flower using acrylic paint.

After dyeing it, I let it dry and then used black thread to tie it around my neck with a star. I tried to use whatever materials I had.

Then I varnished the necklace. After varnishing, anything looks new and shiny. After varnishing, I let it dry for a while.

The jewelry is finished and I took a few pictures of my daughter wearing it. My daughter loved it and wanted to wear it around her neck again and again.

This necklace of mine is made of so much clay that it carries a rural tradition. Bengali girls love to wear this kind of necklace with their sarees.
