Lira the Dark| Splinterlands Art Contest Week 236

Hello hello,

Today, I want to share my first participation in the Splinterlands art contest. Honestly, I was a bit nervous at first. I'm not a concept art pro, so I felt a bit out of my comfort zone. But you know what, pushing myself to try something new was such a fun challenge!

I decided to create a piece featuring Lira the Dark, a total boss vampire and sorceress. I mean, she seriously exudes power. I couldn't help but think of Bellatrix from Harry Potter when drawing her. You know, even despite her questionable choices (we won't talk about that killing daddy Sirius Black incident...). But there's something so captivating about a crazy powerful witch who can work crazy arcane magic without all the slimes, eyeballs and skulls.

Truth be told, this particular painting style was a bit of a stretch for me. But regardless, I knew that I had to stay committed and see it through.
