Saludos Hivernfts, bienvenidos a una nueva entrega sobre Splinterlands y el challenge SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! en esta ocasión estaremos usando la carta FLYING SQUID.

FLYING SQUIDE es una carta Melee de la edición Chaos con la habilidad de atacar en segunda posición y es por eso que se usa como segundo tanque. Esta carta es del elemento agua y cuenta con un diseño hermoso, con grandes ojos y para nada alegre.

Aunque la mayoría de calamares les gusta la soledad en el mar, no es el caso de FLYING SQUIDE el cual anda en manadas como pandilla buscando a quien devorar. Se dice que algunos barcos los han confundido con gaviotas y para cuando los tripulantes se dan cuenta de sus grandes tentáculos y que no tienen plumas, ya es demasiado tarde para escapar.


Greetings Hivernfts, welcome to a new installment about Splinterlands and the SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! This time we will be using the card FLYING SQUID.

FLYING SQUIDE is a Melee card from the Chaos edition with the ability to attack in second position and that is why it is used as a second tank. This card is of the water element and has a beautiful design, with big eyes and not at all cheerful.

Although most squids like solitude in the sea, this is not the case of FLYING SQUIDE, which is a gang of squids looking for someone to devour. It is said that some boats have mistaken them for seagulls and by the time the crew members realize their large tentacles and that they have no feathers, it is too late to escape.

Para lograr compartirles una batalla donde obtuve la victoria, tuve que perder unas 20 veces, tal vez más, ya perdí la cuenta. Pero es que ayer me fue fatal en mis batallas y hoy me ha ido peor, realmente necesito un descanso.

Para esta batalla solo podía gastar 21 puntos de mana y no había ninguna condición especial. Primero elegí al invocador Kelya Frendul que le otorgará a mis aliados +1 de velocidad y +1 de escudo.


In order to share with you a battle where I won, I had to lose about 20 times, maybe more, I've lost count. But yesterday I was terrible in my battles and today I did worse, I really need a break.

For this battle I could only spend 21 mana points and there was no special condition. First I chose the summoner Kelya Frendul that will give my allies +1 speed and +1 shield.

Decidí usar mi carta recién alquilada BaakJira la ballena, ya que tiene mucha vida, soporta el daño mágico y ralentiza al enemigo. Esta carta no tiene ataques así que la intención es distraer a mi adversario.


I decided to use my newly rented card BaakJira the whale, as it has a lot of life, withstands magic damage and slows down the enemy. This card has no attacks so the intention is to distract my opponent.
Nuestra protagonista FLYING SQUIDE será la que estará haciendo el daño al tanque enemigo, tiene +3 de velocidad, +2 de ataque melee y su 8 punto de salud para resistir algún ataque de rebote.


Our main character FLYING SQUIDE will be the one doing the damage to the enemy tank, she has +3 speed, +2 melee attack and her 8 health point to resist some rebound attacks.
Merdaali Guardian es necesaria para poder curar la vida nuestro principal porque como ya saben no tiene ataque y debe seguir con vida para distraer al enemigo el mayor tiempo posible.

Esta carta me encanta, su poder de ataque +3 es efectivo y tiene la habilidad de atacar a la carta enemiga con menor salud. Deeplurker será la pesadilla en esta batalla atacando a todo aquel soporte del tanque enemigo.


I love this card, its +3 attack power is effective and it has the ability to attack the enemy card with less health. Deeplurker will be the nightmare in this battle attacking every enemy tank support.
Ice Pixie es bastante débil en salud y su ataque es muy bajo, apenas +1 de ataque mágico, per es bastante efectiva ya que pasa por debajo del escudo y su coste de mana es bastante bajo. La idea de colocarla en esta batalla es para dañar directamente la salud del tanque enemigo y ayudar con el ataque a FLYING SQUIDE.


Ice Pixie is quite weak in health and its attack is very low, just +1 magic attack, but it is quite effective as it passes under the shield and its mana cost is quite low. The idea of placing it in this battle is to directly damage the health of the enemy tank and help FLYING SQUIDE with the attack.
En la última posición coloqué la carta Torrent Fiend el cual tiene un coste de mana cero, aunque tiene +1 de daño mi intención es colocarla por si acaso mi adversario se le ocurre colocar algún oportunista o ninja.


In the last position I placed the card Torrent Fiend which has a zero mana cost, although it has +1 damage my intention is to place it in case my opponent decides to place some opportunist or ninja.

De este modo organicé mis cartas con muy pocas esperanzas de ganar, pero se logró. Mi adversario @amircka, con el elemento muerte, eligió el invocador THADDIUS BROOD que me resta vida y magia, usó como tanque Cursed Windeku el cual devuelve el ataque melee, utilizó cartas de ranged, imagino que su intención era acabarme con las flechas.

Estuve un poco preocupado porque cada vez que FLYING SQUIDE le hacía daño al tanque, él también recibía el mismo daño, sin embargo Ice Pixie estuvo ayudando con su ataque mágico quedando libre de daños. Ya en la segunda ronda mi ballena tanque no pudo resistir. Para la tercera ronda le eliminé su principal pero en el ataque también murió FLYING SQUIDE. Toda la responsabilidad estaba en los hombros de Deep Lurker y Ice Pixie, quienes hicieron un buen trabajo manteniendo a raya esos arqueros y al fin pude conseguir la victoria.


In this way I organized my cards with very little hope of winning, but it was achieved. My opponent @amircka, with the death element, chose THADDIUS BROOD summoner that subtracts life and magic, he used as a tank Cursed Windeku which returns the melee attack, he used ranged cards, I guess his intention was to finish me with arrows.

I was a little worried because every time FLYING SQUIDE did damage to the tank, he also received the same damage, however Ice Pixie was helping with his magic attack being free of damage. Already in the second round my whale tank could not resist. For the third round I eliminated his main but in the attack FLYING SQUIDE also died. All the responsibility was on the shoulders of Deep Lurker and Ice Pixie, who did a good job keeping those archers at bay and I could finally get the victory.

Ese tanque con esa habilidad me tienen verde!!! Usar una carta sin daño de tanque ? No lo he probado, pero te quedó genial la constitución del equipo.
