A Perfect Choice Against Ranged Attacks

As I mentioned in other posts, I'm a big fan of the Untamed edition in Splinterlands, and today I'm going to talk about the summoner Lir Deepswimmer in the game.

Join me on this brief journey of knowledge in Splinterlands.

Lir Deepswimmer

Lir Deepswimmer is a summoner you don't see very often in your battles because there are many other more popular summoners in the game, but in my opinion, he's a great summoner, especially if your opponent has ranged monsters in the battle.

There are 3 advantages to using Lir Deepswimmer in battles, and they are: Granting +2 armor to all allied monsters, granting the Return Fire ability to allied monsters, and applying Blind to enemy monsters.

Now I'll explain in more detail how these benefits work.

Armor is useful against melee and ranged attacks, meaning that to deal physical damage to an armored monster, you need to destroy the armor first.

Return Fire: Returns 50% of damage to the attacker (rounded up) when hit by a ranged attack.

With this ability, your monsters will be the worst nightmare of your opponent's ranged monsters.

Blind: All enemy melee and ranged attacks have a 15% higher chance of missing their target. Blind also affects units with phase.

With this ability, there's no doubt your opponent's monsters will miss several attacks.

It's been a while since I used Lir Deepswimmer in battle, but today I felt like talking about and using this summoner that I used quite a bit in the past.

Now it's time to see Lir Deepswimmer in battle.

Watch The Battle

Using Lir Deepswimmer was the best decision I made in this battle because my opponent used several ranged monsters, so the Return Fire ability was very useful.

The reason I wanted to use Lir Deepswimmer in this battle was because of the battle rule: Keep Your Distance.

Keep Your Distance: You cannot summon units with melee attacks.

With this battle rule, players can only use monsters with ranged attacks or magic attacks, so the chances of being ranged monsters were high.

Using Lir Deepswimmer made the battle much easier and I was able to quickly defeat my opponent.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den and Genesis League Goals.

For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".

Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.

Find more information about Arcade Colony in my post: Discover the Arcade Colony Platform.
