Tracking My Winnings - Conclave Arcana - Season 160

Hey guys! I wanted to keep track of my winnings each season for both of my accounts so I figured why not turn it into a post and share it with everyone else?

Each season I'll report the amount of SPS I've won from both battle rewards (modern, wild, survivor, and brawls) as well as all the tournaments I played for that season on the two accounts.

From there, I'll keep a running average per season and extrapolate that over 39 total seasons to simulate what kind of value I will end up with after 1.5 years which should be around the time when 7th edition comes out, the set after Conclave Arcana.

For reference, my main account, including cards and SPS has a value of around $26,000 while my alt account has a value of around $13,000.

Let's see what I can do with these decks and find out how much I can actually win each season from playing Splinterlands!

Starting with the main account we have 9,506 SPS from battle rewards. This is slightly less than the 9,764 from last season but I also think I cooked the books a little bit last time with not claiming my rewards directly at the end of season. Overall with no survivor mode (it was still inactive) I am pretty happy with this.

I was able to play a bit more (for me) and won 281 battles with roughly a 60% win rate, finishing in the 8th spot overall for champ modern. I miss getting DEC for these kinds of finishes but glint could be cool too if we get some better rewards in the shop.

For this upcoming season Survivor mode is back so I think I'll easily be able to break 10k SPS in the current season but we won't know until it's over.

As of right now, I still plan to focus entirely on modern and tournaments as I want to see what Survivor mode will look like with the new changes before jumping back into that. I really need to think hard about what my strategy will be though because I have an entire set of Chaos Legion cards that are only used for wild tournaments.

I think ultimately what I mind end up doing is excluding my modern deck from Survivor mode and then playing it strictly with the CL block of cards as like an added bonus. It would hurt me for wild tournaments but if I can make more SPS in Survivor with them anyway then it's worth doing.

After adding up all the tournaments from 5/31 to 6/14 we get 9,837 SPS for the main account.

My best win of the season was a second place finish in the Gloridax Wild Diamond Invitational! I always want to win the whole thing and be called the champion but the SPS prize is the same as long as you land in the top 4 so it's fine...

If we add up the 9,506 from Battle rewards and the 9,837 SPS from tournaments we get 19,343 SPS for the main account! This is a good bit higher than the 16,174 SPS from two seasons ago. Tournaments are obviously the big reason why... It's hard to believe that I earned more SPS from them than Modern ranked but when you hit a top 4 in one of the big diamond tournaments it certainly helps a ton.

My alt account earned 4,234 SPS from Battle Rewards this time which is substantially lower than the 5,647 it earned last time but that might have more to do with the mistake I made claiming last time.

I think as more and more people level up their CA cards it gets harder for this account to perform as well since it is essentially a GF silver level deck outside of the Rebellion airdrops and reward cards.

I could probably improve this deck quite a bit by maxing out a few key cards but since my main account still hasn't maxed CA either it'll have to wait a while.

After adding up all of Thoogen's tournament winnings we get 6,643 SPS which is a bit higher than last seasons 5,665. My biggest win came from the Ferexian Modern Silver Invitational GF tournament which is no surprise at all since this account is pretty much built for it.

I also managed to get 2nd place in the Bronze version which is great for me!

I finally managed to get enough card power to play in the Wild version of the Silver GF tournament and got 10th. I am happy with that because there are some rulesets you really can't win without Llama, Yodin, Kitty, Valnamor, etc so while it may not seem so great it was a big milestone for me and the account and another source of SPS.

Adding up Thoogen's Battle Rewards and Tournament winnings we get 10,877 SPS. This time my main account earned almost TWICE as much as my alt at 19,343 SPS and I think that will continue to grow now that Survivor mode has been enabled again.

Combined we get 30,220 SPS on the season.

30,220 X 0.0084 (current price of SPS) = $253.84 that I earned from playing a game I enjoy!

CA Season 159 = 27,486 SPS
CA Season 160 = 30,220 SPS

We now have 2 data points with an average of 28,853 SPS. Using this average over 39 seasons (1.5 years) we get 1,125,267 SPS. So far so good but I had some big tournament wins this time so I hope I can maintain this average!
