Having an authorized firm that is well recognized to be true in whatever it was made for and just at a twinkle the firm has been faux or hijacked, pretending to be the real firm just to scam and steal from the person concerned.

A lot of scammers are out there looking for every possible way to snatch what belongs to us.

In the area of cryptocurrency and other blockchains, the faux agent is not left out as we have seen and witnessed the various faux websites created by scammers to trick investors to make investments and thereafter will elope with their already made money and investments.

This act is always done to investors who only want investment money and not their time. The urgency for money and doubling of money is what makes us blind and fall into the trick created by faux agents.

This act can be done through giveaways, unidentified and unrecognized giveaways may come in using our well-known website or blockchain to do giveaways which may trick us into being a victim.

Another way by which a faux agent can scam us is through some worked pages such as phishing pages and links, whereby when we click or fill in the details they will use it as an advantage to us.

That’s why it’s advisable here on #hive not to fill in our passwords such as our private keys to any funny or unknown site.

Using people's links that we know to scam the masses is another way faux agents can penetrate the blockchain.

Sometimes these faux websites can come in a way that they appear to be true in their various activities and when we register under them, they tend to be true and will always carry out their defined duties as stated and after some time of getting our trust, they will elope with our investments.

Sometimes they make their imitating website to be on the air by referring to and advertising it, when they have gotten the masses' attention they lose to the air.

The world of #cryptocurrency needs a firm engine vault that cannot be broken by this faux website agent, and our keys should not be served permanently to the engine in case of a disaster such as a faux agent hijack, so our keys and documents will be safeguarded properly.

We should be very careful where we input our keys to avoid being fraudulent and making away with all we have in our wallets.
