Cuando una skin te enamora ❤️ Cosplay de Jicarilla the Rime (Esp/Eng)

I wanted to stop by and tell you a little more about the real story behind this cosplay, because it wasn't something I improvised overnight, although in the end it did end up being a bit of a rush 😅.

This Valentine's Day cosplay inspired by Jicarilla the Rime was an idea that came together gradually. Little by little, I got everything I needed: some things I planned, others I adapted based on what I found or could afford. Not everything turned out perfectly, but that's also part of the creative process. For example, the white ruffles on the hat and cape didn't turn out exactly as I had imagined at first, but I still felt that the outfit managed to convey the essence of the card and the spirit of Valentine's Day.

Something I definitely wanted to include was the transition of the look, because for me it also tells a story. At the beginning, I wore a beautiful pink pajama set that my little sister Mariely gave me from Spain 💕. It literally came from far away, and it was totally my style: sweet, soft, and feminine. I thought it was perfect to represent the more tender and pink version of myself that I normally am, and to use it as a transition to the intense and daring red of the final cosplay. It was like going from soft love to passionate love ❤️✨.

The truth is that I decided to upload the cosplay as it was because I saw that the skins were already being retired, and I didn't want this version to be lost in oblivion. It was a “now or never” situation, and I preferred to share it imperfect but authentic. In the end, I think it captures the romantic, intense, and elegant vibe of the skin: red, red, and more red.

This whole idea came about thanks to my friend @Bulkathos, who was the first to show me this skin. As soon as I saw it, I loved it. I don't have the card yet, but I plan to save up little by little to get it, without rushing, at my own pace.

The dress was one of the most difficult parts: it is made of satin silk, something that was not easy to find. The cape, curiously, was much simpler to make than I imagined. I ended up decorating the hat with what I had on hand: a ribbon, a heart, and some small feathers that, although discreet, served their purpose.

One detail that is almost imperceptible in photos is that the dress is corset-style at the back, so it fits the figure quite snugly. No one helped me put it on, and I feel that with help it would have looked even better, but that's how homemade cosplay is: creativity, patience, and figuring things out as best you can.

Now the big question remains... Will I go to an event in this dress or should I sell it? 😂 I don't know yet. What I do know is that I really enjoyed the process and wanted to share it with you.
