Battles to Showcase ~~ Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!
Hello good peoples on splinterlands, how you guys are doing?
So with the passing of each and every weeks we are learning something new and growing ourselves. Exploring new strategy with the cards and monsters. So just like every other week, here I am, once again with some battles to showcase and share my thoughts with a view to helping others. These kind of initiative is always beneficial for noobs like us. I will be exploring other's to learn and refine myself.
So without any further delays, lets get into the post and continue. Also, dont forget to share your thoughts if possible, would mean a lot in my growth.
Battle - 1: Saved By An Inch
Ruleset: Are You Not Entertained?
- You can summon one additional gladiator.
- Gladiator cards possess Bloodlust, and may be purchased with Merits after Joining a Guild.
-Use a summoner with Conscript to play 2 gladiator cards within this ruleset!
Low mana battle, so I wasn't really focused on the additional gladiator but on how to outperform my opponent's attacking power. So, I went with TARSA to increase my melee attacks and went with a demoralize monster which reduces melee attack of my opponent's monsters by 1. This was the main turning point.
Even after both of these strategies working out, I had nearly dead, got saved by an inch, if I had missed my last attack then I would have been finished. Lastly, I got the soothing victory.
Battle - 2: Same Same But Different
Ruleset: Need for Speed
- You can only summon units with 3 or more speed.
Two out of four monsters as well as the summoner we picked are the same, but the other two monsters drew the difference and winning lines, particularly my tank. COMMANDER SLADE came with Enfeeble and Dodge ability where Enfeeble reduces the opponent;s melee attack by -1 after each successful attacks. Even my third monster had thorns ready for the opponent's melee monsters but they couldn't reach this much fortunately, lol. Got victory from a good position.
Battle - 3: Trample x Melee
Ruleset: High Five
- You can summon a maximum of 5 units.
With, POSSIBILUS THE WISE, I have always loved pairing the melee monsters to trigger trample over and over again. And with the melee monsters, when the knocks down a monster, they hits again, isnt it amazing? Hehe, i have already a double striked monster and on top of that, trample!! This strategy of mine worked flawlessly and it rocked.
