The story of Yoshi Tatsu (Fumi Yamamoto)

Fumi Yamamoto is a Japanese wrestler who was born in Japan in 1977. He grew up in Gifo, where he developed a love for fighting, so he began practicing boxing and jujutsu at the age of 23. Yamamoto attended an audition for New Japan Progress Lee, where he was selected to participate in the wrestling company.

Yamamoto debuted in the Lion's company in 2002, specifically on October 12, facing Awatura and not Yamamoto's first years in New Japan Progresshley were disastrous as he kept losing every fight in tournaments, he barely managed to win a fight here and there but never reached the finals.

After leaving Wesley Yamamoto, he was filmed by WWE. So he had to move to the United States in late 2007. WWE was sent to their Florida development center for evaluation. Leslie spent his first two years there until 2009, when he was sent to Easy W, adopting the name Yoshi Tazu for the first time. Josh Tazu started off quite powerful, defeating guys like Shelton Benjamin and even Zack Rider. All of this earned him a title opportunity against Christian, but that was as far as his good run went, as the champion defeated him. Seeing this, he did what he had done in the past, allied himself with Gold Dash, and they sought to win the WWE Tag Team Championships, but they were also unsuccessful.

As this was beginning to take shape as an independent show and break away from the reality show format, George Tazos stayed on the brand even though Byron Saston was eliminated. So, he began a feud with Tyson Kidd because Tyson Kidd broke a toy. This caused the two to face each other, and Tyson Key won. But not satisfied with that, he injured his leg, taking him out for a while. Days passed, and while Tyson and Tazos were in their fights, messages in Japanese were shown on the screen, such as revenge, pride, and other phrases, until finally Jositazo returned to attack Tyson Kidd. But this time, differently, Yoshi Tatsu wore black. He had half his face painted, and his outfit represented Japan more. In addition, his blond locks turned red. George Tazos was finally able to defeat Tyson Kidd, thus winning the feud. Despite the difference, this didn't stick, so Jositazo was sent to Super Stars, where he spent the final years of his career from 2012 to 2014, losing every fight he contested there until he was released by the McMullen management company in June 2014.

Yamamoto graduated from university in Japan with a degree in political science. Yamamoto has participated in five video games, including King of Collision 2 for the PlayStation 2 console, Wrestling Kingdom 2 for the PlayStation 2 console, and Snack Down Versus Row 2011 for the PlayStation 2 console, www.12 for the PlayStation 3 console, and finally www.13 for the PlayStation 4 console.
