Good morning moonkarters and lovers of moonkarts game, it is another opportunity to share with you friends, the experience I had in the game yesterday, as a lover of blockchain games especially on the Hive blockchain, I have to give it another try and infact I am beginning to fall deeply in love with the game.

Moon Karts game is another blockchain game built on the Hive ecosystem by the Splinterlands team. The team is currently hosting three games on the platform and they include; Splinterlands, Genesis League, and Moon Karts. Splinterlands as we all know is a tactics card game that has been six years or more after it was launched. The Genesis League is a soccer game where you play as the manager of your team. The game that I will be reviewing in this post is the Moon Karts game which is a racing game that offers a 3D play-to-earn experience.

The Moon Karts game is also a strategic game like the other two games and it involves upgrading their character/driver to earn more. You can upgrade your car used in racing and if you have a good level car, you earn more advantage to win a race than one with a lower level car. Also, having a higher-ranked driver or character gives your driver more experience and skills to handle car racing during competitions.

Before diving into the economics and rewards of the game, let’s quickly look at the gameplay mechanics. First of all, the basic one is racing which involves showcasing your speed talent and skill in handling cars. There is 2 2-minute duration for each race and the top 50% of racers are considered to be winners. There are some parameters to track your performance in a race and that includes; acceleration, speed, handling, and health.

The gameplay has three practice modes including Time Trials, Track Selection, and Customization Testing mode. In moon karts game, you can choose to play a single-player or a multiplayer match. There is a consumption of fuel ⛽️ once you go in for a race and you will be required to purchase fuel to boost your speed during racing.

Before you can start a race in the moon kart game, you will need to have a kart and a driver which you can earn from purchasing packs. To buy a pack, you have to buy it from the Hive Engine wallet with a Hive token. In the Hive engine, the token or pack to purchase is called CENTAURI. Note that, you will need SCRIPT tokens from the hive engine marketplace as well to upgrade your player and car. You can also buy packs from the moon karts shop which you can pay either with SCRIPT or COLONY or CREDITS.

This will lead us to have a look at the economic and rewards system of the game. The native token in the game is the COLONY token which one can from winning races. Also, note that there are seasonal rewards where you can earn some nice COLONY once you find a good spot in the leaderboard after the end of the season.
