Note : i reposted this poster in this week contest because i was missing some of the rules in the last week, so i reposted it in this week contest.
So this post i checked all the rules and followed it.
Good evening dear friends... How are you today ?
My entry :
For this entry i made a new poster of Wailing Wraith card which it's the first time i make a poster for this amazing card ! Anyway, i used Canva and searched for a template to start my fist step from it then i replaced the photos and did some edits, after that i switched to Sketchbook app to draw some graphics and make it much better. And finally for the last step i used photo editor.
More about the poster :
My poster for the Splinterlands Art Contest is a mesmerizing fusion of deep purples and vivid contrasts, creating an otherworldly battlefield where magic and might collide. The dominant royal purple backdrop envelops the scene in an aura of mystery and arcane power, evoking the enigmatic forces at play in the Splinterlands universe. This rich hue symbolizes magic, nobility, and the unknown, perfectly aligning with the game’s fantastical essence.
At the heart of the composition stands a commanding Summoner, their flowing green hair cascading like emerald flames against the purple void. This striking contrast between cool purple and electric green creates a visual tension that immediately draws the eye. The hair’s unnatural, luminous shade suggests a connection to raw mana or ancient druidic energy, reinforcing the Summoner’s role as a conduit of power. The way the strands twist and glow gives a sense of dynamic movement, as if the character is channeling a spell mid-battle.
The Power of Color Harmony
The purple-green duality is not just visually arresting—it carries symbolic weight. Purple, often associated with shadow magic and royalty, contrasts with the vibrant, life-infused green, representing the clash between arcane mastery and primal energy. Shadows cling to the Summoner’s robes, while their hair and glowing runes pulse with an eerie light, suggesting uncontainable power.
Atmospheric Details & Magical Effects
- Floating runes in gold and cyan hover around the Summoner, their glow casting an ethereal light on the battlefield.
- Swirling mana orbs in deep blues and purples drift in the air, reinforcing the card game’s mechanics.
- The ground is cracked with veins of glowing green energy, mirroring the Summoner’s hair and emphasizing their connection to the land.
Typography & Composition
The title "Splinterlands" is etched in a gothic, metallic font, with cracks of green energy running through the letters—hinting at the game’s fractured realms. A subtle tagline like "Command the Chaos" reinforces the poster’s theme of controlled power.
Conclusion: A Poster That Demands Attention
This piece is more than just fan art—it’s a visual symphony of color and energy. The regal purple tones set a dark, mystical stage, while the Summoner’s green hair acts as a beacon of untamed force. Every detail, from the creatures’ designs to the arcane glow, works in harmony to pull viewers into the Splinterlands’ war-torn fantasy.
