SPLINTERLANDS IS ON FIRE

post pic.jpg

Something that I have not been doing lately is posting here on Hive about splinterlands. I have been do focused on playing the game, streaming the game on Twitch and posting about the game on Tiktok and X. That it has just slipped my mind and I sis not even mention work or everyday tasks yet. Work has also kept me busy as well as watching other streamers. Long story short I have been busy.

DROPS COME TO TWITCH

Recently Splinterlands has started supporting the Splinterlands streamers over on twitch with Twitch drops, cards and even packs. This along with all the updates that have been coming out has really gotten the community buzzing again. I have seen old players start to play the game again and new players start playing the game and interacting with the community. I have even seen Splinterlands that had become a dead category on Twitch see a bit of life breathed into it, with consistent streamers getting more viewership and some even streaming more to help viewers get their drops unlocked. Old streamers who had not streamed since SplinterlandsTV coming back and streaming. And even new streamers streaming Splinterlands. If we can keep the momentum up we will hopefully see Splinterlands streamers get even more views and showcase the game to all the gamers that watch Twitch.

A BIT ABOUT ME

I have been streaming on Twitch for a few years now and have been streaming Splinterlands for over 5 years on several streaming services, including VimmTV, ThetaTV, Twitch and Youtube. VimmTV was one of my favorites as it was right here on Hive blockchain and it could be auto posted to go live on your Hive page so viewers here on Hive could just jump right on from your Hive page where you post. Twitch has been better for me then Youtube and I will look to focus on Twitch as that is where the drops and viewers are and where I feel both myself and Splinterlands will get the most benefit.

WHAT I AM DOING ON X

I have been posting on X for a long time now and started the account there to support a person by the name of Nathan Mars who managed to get a large following on Hive awhile back and I would spend all day posting on X, which was then known as Twitter, posting content about Hive and game on Hive and tagging Hive in the post to try to get Hive trending. It was a lot of fun and that is where I learnt a lot about community and engagement. Which now seems to be paying off as both myself and Splinterlands gain followers.

STARTING OUT ON TIKTOK

The last of the places that I have been posting is TikTok. My account over there is only new but I have been getting a few views, averaging about 100 views per post, which is not a lot. Hopefully though I can build on this base and build a community of TikTok users over here. Both Magic the gathering (MTG) and Pokémon get a lot of views on TikTok and the physical Trading card game(TCG) community would be a great one to tap into as Splinterlands is an online version of a Trading card game but with a lot more to offer, like land as one example.

BUILDING A COMMUNITY

I touched on being part of a community and with that in mind, not only have I been streaming Splinterlands content, but I have also been watching others. This is to help, support and encourage others that stream splinterlands. Jumping on to these streams I have been able to keep the chat going at times and even encouraged the streamers to raid others and gotten stream chains going so that viewers can get as much time as they can unlocking those drops. I have even had fellow streamers encourage myself and others to go live just so they can raid us and help each other grow our communities and support Splinterlands.

THANK YOU

I could drop a whole list of streamers here but I will just shout out the three that have helped me most on my journey so far, @bunsbagsandcaps, @ourfadedglory and (Tales from the crypt mancer) aka @synist3r. These guys have been having fun with me whilst streaming @splinterlands, Buns has been streaming splinterlands forever and part of the reason I am still here, Tales setup the twitch drops and has been dropping in on streams as well as streaming himself and Our faded glory has been having fun with me across several social media platforms as well as streaming.

I am so happy with the direction the game has been going in of late and if this year is anything to go by them we are up for some great times ahead. Fingers crossed that we can keep up the momentum.
Thanks for reading and make sure to follow @Splinterlands both on hive and other social media's. And don't forget to play your battles on Splinterlands.
