Visiting My DCrops Farm

I have almost forgotten about my DCrops. My crops died before I could harvest them. I should have an alert when to harvest. I still don't know how this game goes. I just plant and harvest when I can every time the season changes. Is there anything else I need to do other than that at this point? I think the game is in Alpha phase.
