SKIPPY UPDATE: TERRA BRIDGE AND HIVE LAUNCHPAD IN DEVELOPMENT

Gooooood day everyone I trust you are safe and well I thought it was time for another Skippy update and for those who don't know Skippy is available on Hive-Engine as SWAP.SKP.

I have recently had the token bridged to Terra (LUNA) Network however, we do not have funds to provide a liquidity pool at this stage and our primary focus remains to establish a Bee Swap pool first to enable swapping from BSC to Hive and provide people a cheaper and faster way to bring BSC assets into Hive Blockchain.

The Terra (Luna) Network contract can be found here on Terra Finder so at current you can move SKIPPY around but the entry point to Hive will currently be BSC.

The establishment of a Bee Swap pool requires 1000 bee and then I need to stock it with a Hive pair which means I am also currently looking at alternative means of revenue to fill that void and I am hoping to have something up and running that may interest a few projects and the broader hive community.

At current projects that wish to launch on Hive only have one real way of raising funds and that is through marketing and selling tokens direct to purchasers which can present a barrier. First of all people need to trust the project to deliver to let go of their hive for the token and projects are competing against many others.

To meet this need I have established the Skippy launchpad specifically for Hive and I am running it past legal to see what I can and can't do. As I will not and can not accept fiat currency and I will not be managing peoples funds and ONLY providing this to people on Hive and not external I think we are good to bring forward the first ever Hive Launchpad.

Now this launchpad is going to operate a little bit differently and provide a pretty sweet deal for everyone as we will be utilising Skippy.

SKIPPY TO POWER THE NEXT GENERATION OF HIVE PROJECTS

At current this initiative will only be available to users who have picked up some SWAP.SKP recently (sorry early buyers but I am working on something for you too keep reading) and I can not accept outside forms of payment for this initiative which will utilise SKIPPY.

Users will be able to send their SWAP.SKP to a SKIPPY POOL and in the memo include their desired period of length to a listed pool that a Hive project has selected. We will require a minimum of 3 month placements.

In return the person who has sent their SKIPPY will receive a 7% APY of the project token associated with the pool they have sent their SKIPPY too. At the end of the set period the user will have their SKIPPY returned in FULL or be able to continue leaving their SKIPPY in the pool.

I am also looking at providing an APY to early buyers of SKIPPY so they aren't left out and am in the process of figuring out costs, taxes and profit margins.

This means that Hive users will not lose any assets and they will receive the project token.

The project itself isn't too over complicated to establish I have been learning how to code which for me is new so if there are any Hive developers that are interested in getting involved I do have a website, a Siteground server and a working Hive Engine token. I would really appreciate the help and support and I am more than happy to work something out. Just get in touch.

If there are any projects out there that would like to get involved please let me know as I would be keen to get it up and running in a trial. These pools can also be established for projects that are already running i.e. We could set up a Leo/PoB/VYB Pool and each month once HBD APY hits the account use it to buy Leo Token and distribute to everyone based on their HBD amount. At current this is an entirely manual process and as we build our own supply we can start paying people to develop bots and further refine the protocol. The key is to start somewhere!

I also have plans to further utilise SKIPPY as the governance token and if we get cooking SKIPPY HODLRS will be able to participate in setting APY, selecting projects to host and the overall progress of the project.

You can visit the SKIPPY POOLS website where everything will be done on the Hive Engine and you will not be required to provide any logins or data. Just click the pool you want to participate in. Click the corresponding image it will send you to the pool where you can find out more information. If you have a Hive account just send SKIPPY from your wallet making sure you put in your desired lock in time.
