Welcome to the Bangladesh National Museum. Dhaka Shahbagh
I welcome you to visit the Bangladesh National Museum for the second time in my journey today. This extraordinary national museum is well known for its history, heritage and culture along with mental civilization. This museum is usually located in Dhaka Shahbagh. However, in 1983, this place was named Bangladesh National Museum. And there are more than 83 thousand exhibits in 46 galleries as exhibitions.
We should go to this beautiful ancient museum of Bangladesh to get acquainted with all the practical items of the ancient king's era and the showpieces and the history and heritage of the country. However, as soon as we entered, we saw some foreign visitors arriving here. They came from Australia, America and the Netherlands. We spent some time with them and they came to this National Museum and toured the entire museum with the king's heritage, practical items and some interesting statues and some extraordinary souvenirs. Of course, we wish them success in their interesting trip. Now let's enjoy our exhibition.
I really like green grass, water bodies and natural grass plants. This green grass sign that says Bangladesh National Museum is really memorable and gives peace to the heart. Also, there is a lion sculpture lying next to the museum. But you can say that it is one of the largest and cleanest museums in South Asia.
However, there are some guidelines for buying tickets and entry with bags is prohibited here. There is an attractive system for storing bags, including tokens, but collecting and saving tokens is mandatory. The entry fee for children aged three to twelve is twenty taka. The ticket price for those above 12 years is 40 taka. And the entry fee for foreign visitors is 500 taka and visitors from SAARC countries have to pay 300 taka to collect the entry ticket.
However, our museum tour started with the fish exhibition. Here we usually see ancient heritage exhibitions. The scene of a farmer carrying rice on his head. The mother with her child looking on and showing love. Carrying drinking water with a pitcher on her shoulder. The scene of picking tea leaves and giving beautiful food to animals. The hard work of a potter's exhibition. The women's weaving exhibition and cloth making skills. We all enjoyed the interesting exhibitions including some of the ancient heritage arts. These are the unique history of ancient heritage that shows how hardworking people were in real life. Compared to that, how lazy we have become, we need to be more hardworking. These extraordinary mummy exhibitions are truly ancient culture and are worth enjoying as beautiful exhibitions.
In this scene you will see the scenery of 64 districts of Bangladesh on an included map. The decoration of ancient petrified wood is included. The ancient mummy of the Royal Bengal Tiger with a goat animal was seen in the exhibition. Quartz (sphaeroc) is an ancient mineral resource that is found in natural geological environments. The second most abundant of these mineral resources is on the verge of extinction. Cycas is a gymnosperm plant that can often be bought online in our country or found in various nurseries. However, it is mostly seen in tropical and subtropical rural areas.
In this exhibition we enjoyed something interesting which looks natural and natural. But these are really very real and beautiful which have been mummified. Various fruits, flowers and various types of flowers including kadbel banana betel and dab are preserved by mummies. These are also usually kept as ancient exhibitions. Along with enjoying the extraordinary view of the Shapla flower, I felt like I was a child.
Here you can see the scene of ancient sea snails. There are snails with different names and different shapes, many of which are not found today. Among them, the bang snail and the fairy snail are completely new. Many of these snails are on the verge of extinction. These include the net snail, the big-headed snail, the guji snail, the giant snail, the blue snail, the spoon snail, the snail garland, the chil snail, the mango snail and the helmet snail, and many more sea snails are in this scene. The beauty of these ancient sea snails that are visible fascinates us all and creates interest in seeing ancient snails. Let's find out how interesting this interesting journey really is.
Here, I enjoyed the huge round whale skeleton with sawfish and whale skeleton as a truly ancient exhibition. This interesting whale skeleton is a huge round exhibition. However, this is the second time I am seeing this exhibition. There are amazing monkey mummies including beehive peacocks and vultures, sand ducks, ducks, kingfishers and owls. Wild cats, elephants and elephant calves. However, last time we completed the tour in a hurry. But this time it is completely different. Only my wife and I tried to see the exhibitions thoroughly with a very nice and elegant time. What attracted attention and revealed ancient civilizations and cultures about the magnificent exhibitions. And enjoying everything. However, this can be a great trip in terms of gaining knowledge about Bangladesh.
A huge round ship made of wood is a great art. Today's great exhibition really inspires us to see round ships. And the experience of creating safety with small boats is really a great exhibition. Safety and beautiful technique. Here are some of the products used by the king, including shoes and the exhibition includes lamps, water bottles and some practical products, including iron statues and chess boards. We enjoyed all these exhibitions here. Surely you can create enjoyment and attention in all these scenes through your photos. We are very happy to see such interesting antiques. An inspiring experience always gives us all the skills to learn.
In this exhibition, you can see a huge circular boat. In ancient times, during the reign of the king, they usually used this boat to travel to different places on the huge circular river and go to exhibitions. There is a collection of elephant hands, fan feet, shoes and various small and large boats. Really ancient and best for exhibitions. How beautiful it is still intact in the mummy room. My daughter was very happy to see these interesting practical products along with the boat and the huge circular boat. And she was interested in getting acquainted with more different things. Both her mother and I tried to tell her about these exhibitions. And she was very enthusiastically asking what this thing is, what is that, is it exactly like this. It was a great opportunity for children's brain development.
The exhibition depicting the palace, which is a beautifully designed palace made of iron. Along with the guns used during the reign of the king, these beautiful exhibitions really inspire me after seeing them. Along with this, there are some practical glass products of the king, animal structures including the king's bed and various war products including knives, which are made during the reign of the king. This circular building is a national museum located on three floors. Let us enjoy some more interesting exhibitions.
Cultural items include drums, tabla, harmonium and guitar, all these ancient products really give us all the opportunity to feel comfortable and have a beautiful experience. Along with this, there is an ancient exhibition piano. Through which in ancient times, the stars of the king's era used to listen to music. There are also various dotara exhibitions, numerous drums, tabla and big drums. There is an opportunity to get acquainted with different types of yarn sarees, we liked the woven sarees very much. This museum has preserved the unique history of ancient exhibitions. There are also practical products including the king's bed and sofa. Skulls from mass graves have been preserved during the war. Along with this, there is a world map with half-statues of various freedom fighters made of stone. I saw the memorial of Shaheed Matiur Rahman, he was a heroic freedom fighter. Along with this, you will see various statues made of tires. I am trying to show the best exhibitions through pictures in my trip today.
There is an ancient pyramid exhibition here. The international auditorium is an ancient sand memory timing exhibition. A huge round ancient human skeleton has been preserved. A wonderful Quran Sharif with length and width, which is the first and most extraordinary handwritten drawing. The Quran Sharif from the time of Hazrat Osman Radiallahu Anha. In this exhibition, you can see the statue exhibition of Chinese kings. There are also some bells in this exhibition, small, large, medium, and various types of bells. All activities were announced to everyone through these bells according to the time. In this exhibition, you can see the face and beautiful dress of a Korean girl. We are happy to be familiar with Korean dresses. There are also various types of statues, statues, and practical products and different exhibitions.
This time we came out of the museum and enjoyed the weather outside. Although it was not raining, it was a great and inspiring time to spend a beautiful time. Returning home from there, my wife and children are happy to have spent a joyful time in an interesting way. They are very happy with such a trip. My next travel target is Srimangal.
