‎These light sweet sticky foods mixed with coconut are very delicious to eat. Especially fried foods are harmful to health. But in making this pitha, the sticky mixture is usually strengthened. Through which no oil can enter the inside. So the oil often drips from the outside. You can make this beautiful pitha edible by sitting at home with great feeling. Spices in quantity such as cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, etc. 400 grams of rice flour. 180 grams of sugar. 50 grams of flour. Salt in quantity. 200 grams of water. A 500 gram coconut. 500 grams of soybean oil. Pira, balloon, pot, plastic lid, all the necessary practical tools.

First I took all the necessary tools in hand. Then I cleaned the five coconut shells well using a knife. And I carefully kept all the coconut shells. I like to keep the abandoned things very carefully. Which always benefits me.

Then I tried to break the middle of the coconut with the head of the boat. Next, you can see that it has split into two equal parts. Then I made a thin shape with a coconut cutter and made the coconuts into beautiful models.

Then I put it in the oven, then I added all the ingredients including the spices and sugar and mixed it with a light heat. It looks a lot like coconut flour.

I used the right amount of water and kneaded the dough well. Then I placed the bread on top of the dola peera.

I have made beautiful sevs by hand from the cut gum.

Then, using plastic lids, I shaped the loaves into round shapes according to that quantity with great feeling.

Then I took the beautiful coconut husks in my hand. Then I placed the coconut husks in the middle. Then I made the breads into beautiful sizes using plastic lids. Later I made beautiful designs with the coconut husks in the middle. But I tried to make a great design by twisting the pithas beautifully.

Then I added a generous amount of soybean oil to the pan and brought it to a boil.

Later, with great feeling, I slowly released the pithas into the oil. After being lightly fried, it looks beautiful when the color comes out. Then I slowly removed the pithas from the pan. And kept them in a bowl. As you can see, I have completed the task of making Puli pitha with great feeling.

I love any dish with coconut. Kneading the dough can be tiring but the outcome is rewarding. We have a similar delicacy here and the dough is also folded like this but the filling is different. Thanks for sharing your recipe. The ingredients are not so expensive here in our place. It can surely feed lots of tummy if ever we'll try to make some. Pitha resembles our Empanada, appearance-wise. I'm amazed there are no fillings. I didn't anticipate that; I thought the sweetened grated coconut would be put inside the dough roll as fillings, but I was wrong. lol

Our Empanada looks exactly the same, but it has fillings, either veggies or meat, sometimes cooked noodles are put inside. Pitha looks more like a dumpling rather than a bread with meat or veggie fillings inside.

Many times we are very attentive while making a recipe but we do it by mistake. But I try to make this recipe very carefully. I work very carefully when I heat the oil. I made this! But, how do you fold the edges? When i fry this, it opens a little bit on the side. I don't know, it spills a little filling outside and the food is ruined. I think this one takes practice. Good job by the way. This one looks nice.
