Greetings to all the readers here,

Today I played Splinterland once again and I have some interesting things to share. I learned a few things, I won a new card today, and that is what I am going to share with all of you. In the screenshot below you can see that we are on Chapter 2 of Book 1, Waur Medge Academy. Chapter 2 is named Card Types, and I think we are going to learn something about the types of cards which are in Splinterland game. I am excited!

The very first screen which I saw educated me on types of cards. The first type of card is Archons cards which are not playable in the game directly. They are distinguished from the unit cards by a triangular symbol at the base of the card. You can see in the screenshots below for more information, as there you can see the definition of both the cards given by the splinterlands team itself.

The good thing is that I am going to win something today. There is a card named Mad Gearhead which will be given to me as a reward if I win this battle. So let us move on to the battlefield already and win our next card that too with a special ability. In the screenshot below, I am sharing the card which is going to be rewarded to me after I win the battle so that you all can see it.

In the screenshot below, the card you see is my Archon card, so it means it will not directly participate in the battle, but it is still important as it decides what unit cards I can take into the battle. For now, I don’t have any other option but this card named Aurelia. So I am going to choose this as my Archon card.

Then I selected the only unit card I have for now, named Dread Tafarian, as you can see in the screenshot below and .

Finally, the battle begins and the opponent also came up with a nice card, as you can see in the screenshot below. But I can clearly see that my Archon gave me a special ability where plus one health was given to my Dread Tafarian, and the battle started. Obviously, as my health is more, I was expecting that I am going to win it easily.

In no time, I won the battle, as you can see in the screenshot below, and Chapter 2 was completed. I have been rewarded with the card I shared above in the blog. Now, I can use this card as well in future battles, and I am really excited to see what abilities that unit card holds, because there is some ability which can be seen with that card. So I am excited to know what it is and how I am going to use it.

Initially I never thought that I will like playing Splinterlands but with time, I realize why they all play this everyday. I will soon complete all the tutorials so that I can finally enter the real battle with real players one day.
