Splinterlands is free to play: My first day playing Campaign mode Book 1, It was interesting!
Greetings to all the readers here,
I got to know from Discord that now Splinterlands is free to play. I have always wanted to play this game, and when I got to know that this game was free, I headed over to the website and decided to give it a try. So in this blog, I am here to share my very first experience with Splinterlands, and I will share how you can start the game.
In the screenshot below, you can see that there is a campaign page, and it came out automatically. There were so many chapters from which I selected after clicking on the book 1 that you can see below.
After I played the first chapter, I was very impressed because it was a story mode, and there a magical mage was sitting on a wheel cart going somewhere, and a dragon was flying in the sky, and that is how we were getting more information about Splinterlands. Suddenly, it all got dark, the night arrived, and a black bear came to attack the magic mage.
Then we were given a card which will help our mage to fight that bear, and it looked good. What I got to learn was the number written on the top left corner is the size that is taken by the card when we take it to the battle. The red heart is obviously the health, then the one on the left side with the weapon is the attacking power, and the one in the round blue circle is the speed of our card, and that is what we got. I don't know if that will be given to us permanently to be used in future battles, but for now, we have that card.
Now, when I clicked on the battle, two cards were shown, as you can see in the screenshot below. One by one, we started attacking each other, and sometimes my card attacked twice in a single turn, and sometimes the black bear attacked me twice. But in the end, I won because my health was clearly more than the black bear’s, and that’s why the victory was on my side.
After that, I saw a screen showing “Prologue 1 Complete.” It means the first chapter was completed, and I had already learned some things about Splinterlands. Now I understand why people play this game a lot. It’s interesting, and the way they shared the story in the beginning in animated form, I really liked it. I’m looking forward to exploring the game further.
Are you someone who wants to play Splinterlands? If yes, then I am going to give you the link to the game below. No matter if you are a new player, you can play it for free, and just like I showed you, you will experience the same thing.
