Greetings to all the readers here,

It has been over 2 months since I shared anything on the Hive Blockchain. I am finally back with a Splinterlands battle, and I am playing the game after more than 2 months. I was not sure if I would win or lose this battle, but I was still excited to fight again after such a long break.

In the screenshot below, you can see the battle rules that allowed only 25 mana cost. This made it quite difficult to decide which summoner I should take into the battle. On top of that, I had to carefully select the right cards to support my strategy.

From the screenshot below, you can see the number of summoners I have. Out of the 5 summoners I own, I decided to take Thalgrimore with me because this summoner has saved me many times, and I have won the maximum number of battles with it.

Looking at the opponent player’s recent cards, I noticed that he played the earth element 3 times in his last 6 battles. So I assumed he might use the earth element again.

Now let me share the cards I took in the battle. You can see the lineup below:

The first card I selected was New Beluroc Aegis. The reason for choosing this card was its Taunt ability that attracts all enemy attacks toward itself.

In the second position, I placed Sorrow Harvester. This card was chosen because it gives -1 health to all enemy units, which really helped me in the battle. Along with that, it has 2 magic attack damage, so it was a strong support card.

After selecting these cards, I was left with 4 mana cost. So I picked Grand Consul Minion, which comes with ranged attack. These were the 3 cards I used for this match.

In the screenshot below, you can see that in the second round I eliminated one of the opponent’s monsters. At that point, my victory was almost guaranteed.

The opponent’s last card had only 3 health and was a ranged attacker, which means it could not attack when left alone in the first position. The only active card in front of me had 1 health, so it became an easy win.

And finally, the page I love the most, the victory screen! This was my first battle of the season, and I won it. I am very happy to return with a win.
