From Shield to Giant Killer | Battle Challenge I Chaos Knight

Hello every one, How are you? welcome back to my blog, Today i would to presenting my battle challenge with Chaos Knight. I hope that through this post I can provide additional knowledge about our beloved game, Splinterlands. This week's theme is Chaos Knight, He is life splinters from Chaos Legion Edition. At the moment i play in silver league, and used basic as free card.

Lore

Chaos Knights are most often found at the front line of the Chaos Legion's invading forces, although they are sometimes enlisted to defend garrisons, leadership, and other high-value assets. They are heavily armored and wield massive battle axes that are able to cut down even the mightiest of foes

Prepare The Battle

Mana cap : 42

Available Unit : Fire, Water, Earth, Life, and Death

Rule set :

Aim True : Abilities like evade or flight or phase won't give any advantage. Similarly de-buff like Blind will be rendered useless.

Close Range : Range units can attack from position 1. Ranged monsters are the new Melee monsters.

The ruleset are aim true and close range, I think the rules will be very beneficial if you bring a monster with a range attack plus a summoner that can give buff +1 range damage. Next, let's arrange the lineup.

My Lineup

Summoner - General Sloan

General Sloan is a rare summoner from chaos legion edition belongs to life unit. He can give buff +1 range damage to each monster. I think that summoner is very suitable for use in close range rules because every range monster could attack in any position.

1^st Position - Chaos Knight

Welcome to the main theme on this week. Chaos Knight are common monster from chaos legion edition belong to life unit. At basic level He has shield ability with 2 malee attack, 4 health, and 3 armor. Based on those stats he is very suitable to be placed in the first position.

2^nd Position - Djinn Renova

Djinn Renova is an epic card from reward edition. She has 2 magic attack and has strengthen ability, that ability give +! health to all friendly monsters. She can be the best support in the team.

3^rd Position - Mantoid

Mantoid is a common card from untamed edition and belongs to neutral unit, it means this card could be combine with the other splinter. At basic level, Mantoid has 2 range attack with spine ability.

4^th Position - Prismologist

Prismologist is the prettiest splinter from the Chaos Legion Edition and belongs to Unit Life. As an epic card, she has 3 range attack plus blast ability. When she combine with General Sloan, at level 1, she has 4 range attack with blast. I though it so powerfull.

5^th Position - Pelakor Arbalest

Another splinter from chaos legion edition are Pelacor Arbalest. She is rare card and belongs to life unit. At basic level she has 2 range attack and Double Strike ability.

6^th Position - Lone Boatman

At last position, put Lone Boatman at basic level. Lone Boatman is a common card from untamed edition belongs to life unit. I used basic level because its free and he has 2 range attack with spine ability.

My opponent has the same thought in dealing with the match rules. He/She put General Sloan as a summoner. At first position there is Elven Defender and the second position are Shieldbearer, I think both of them have the role of tanker. At next position there are Supply runner at level 3, and then Goblin Chariot. He/She put Lone Boatman at 5th position and Pelacor Arbalest in last position.

Based this lineup can be compared lineup with one tanker with ability shield and two tankers without shield ability. Now, lets see the battle.

The Battle

Round 1

• Each range monster give +1 range damage from the summoner.
• My monster recieve +1 health from strengthen ability.
• Shieldbearer are defeted after recieving attacked from Mantoid.
• Supply Runner lose the health after attacked by Lone Boatman.
• my Chaos Knight are defeted by Elven Defender.

Round 2

• My Djinn Renova djinn renova should rest first after receiving an attack from Pelacor Arbalest
• Goblin Chariot and Elven Defender has defeted.

Round 3

• This is the last round, Pelacor Arbalest defeted because blasting.
• My enemy's last monster is Lone Boatman and defeted by my Pelacor Arbalest.

My strategy work well, Chaos Knight as tanker is very good. Even i put all monster at basic level, i got win at this battle.

My Review About Chaos Night

Chaos Knight is another shield must-pict at core team. I love to used this card if i used life unit. Based on battle, He is superior as a single tanker compared to using two splinters with huge health with no shield ability. I need to explore more combination to get the best lineup in life unit.

At bronze you can used Chaos Knight max level 3, He just has shield ability. After you move to silver league, you can used at level 5 and get more ability that is giant killer. For 9-max level He has Inspire ability which can increase malee's damage.
