Splinterlands Art Contest Week 213 - Giant Roc

Hi all!

It's been a while I took part in this contest. So today decided to join and here, I present to you a new digital art work which is my entry for splinterlands art contest week 213 organized by @splinterlands. Yeah, I am happy to participate in this contest and the character I worked on is Giant Roc.

The Roc is a raptor. Here, I tried to depict it in a different pose. I drew the Giant Roc up in the sky with its large wings spread out and mouth wide open. It is carrying this heavy elephant like an ant for devouring. Its claws are firmly holding the elephant that it can't even move an inch.

The painting was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application and aided with an S-pen. You can find my steps below:

The piece was started with an outline sketch

Then I painted the background. I wanted a bright blue sky so I went for these colors

I worked on the mouth before adding shades on the wings

Yellow color was added to the mouth and claws

Finally, I added more colors and finishing touches.
