Brawl Summary #02 - Cleansweep Gold Foil Fray + Great Brawl Tool

Let's talk about brawls again :). The ladder play and rating right now mean almost nothing, so the brawls are the real measure of how strong is the guild. Recently I presented you a simple and useful tool for checking all brawl statistics. You can check the full summary and more details here.

Unfortunately, because we got plenty of information, data, and screenshots there, I missed the opportunity to present some of the brawl's battles.

Today we will concentrate on one guild (not 3 like before :) ), and we can check some of the most interesting battles from the last brawl.

Every brawl with another YGG guild is a nuclear war alert for us :). We got something like internal competition, and everyone tries his/her 110% to win every battle :). And YGG Legion is a higher ranking guild, but you know what is my point about that ranking :). I really impressed by how strong YGG legacy become. From a small group of people with some vision to really well-oiled machine, where everyone knows his place and does a great job there. From my perspective, it was a very good choice to join this guild, I consider a few options, but I choose smaller guilds with people full of passion :).

It was a very close battle, we just need 1 more win to get 1st place. Unfortunately, one of our members got quite a serious real world issue and couldn't send any team. So finally we got second place, but we still feel like the winners :).

So for the last brawl I manage to get clean sweep. It's not very common for me, because gold foil fray is quite demanding. I try to rent some of key cards, but still my GF collection rely usually on Chaos Legions cards, so it's not so easy to win vs a player with all modern cards available ;).

I have chosen some of the more interesting battles from the last brawl. I think I will keep just a simple analysis here. If you are interested in a deeper, round-by-round breakdown please check my Strategy Corner article's cycle. You can find links at the bottom of this article.

This battle was very interesting and it was one of the battle of my prediction game on last stream on splinterlands.tv. TERRACEOUS HULK is so strong card, despite his low speed, he can survive a lot of damage. And of course, Immortalis is the king. Opponents couldn't stand a chance, and overall it was an easy victory for me. I still not sure if KATRELBA GOBSON was a good choice here, all my monster are focusing fire on the first tank, and Katrelba is doing her own job, which seems not efficient.

Second battle was even more in my favor. Immortalis here was quite useless, but overall I got much higher firepower, and I think, the opponent just missed on of the ruleset - Aim True. Recently I wrote an article about it, you can read it here. So you can see now how important is to pay full attention to the ruleset, and how it can change the result of the battle. The opponent tried to get high speed with enrage ability form Skargore, but because of aim true I still was able to hit them every time.

The last battle for today's summary was for sure more even. I chose the FRANZ RUFFMANE, a very good summoner with an armor boost. Here I haven't used all his power, because I used only 1 gladiator card. Captain Katie, which may not fit perfectly here, but she is so strong that she can carry the whole battle on her own. We got plenty of armor, a strong melee monster with the Inspire boost, another decisive victory.

I am very happy with my performance in this brawl. As I mentioned before Gold Foil Frey, even the bronze is not so easy if you don't have the full collection. Today, the new soulbounds cards are a great addition, and as you can see they are strong enough to be a very significant power in brawl's battles. Another thing is gladiator cards, of course, you need to have more luck to get gold foil ones, I'm still missing the best gladiator card Quora (or as somebody likes more Quara - btw you can read about her here ), but Captain Katie and Katrelba Gobson are still quite powerful, and if you can use them right for sure they can help to win more battles.
