Testing Out HiveTrading
Around a month ago I was using hive.trading platform where users can use trading bots to automate trading Hive and HBD. There are actually multiple tools one can implement but each costing Helios to operate.
It is a subscription base and the more one spends in Helios the cheaper the month cost. I went ahead and did a 6 month subscription on the Bot 7 which trades between Hive and HBD to try and earn an income.
Below through a website called https://imv.thecrazygm.com/ I was able to collect the past seven days of my most recent trades of buy and sell of Hive and HBD.
In total I had traded 24.521 HBD and 134.215 Hive. I do not know if I made a profit since but have noticed my original starting point of 120 Hive and 12 HBD remain close to those values for the past month. On top I had staked some Hive which is a good sign. Whether I truly breakeven after paying Helios for the 6 month service yet to remain. I have about five months left.
A brief explanation of how the bot works. In layman terms I needed both liquid HBD and Hive in my wallet so that the bot can swap between the two. When prices of Hive drops about 1% the bot would automatically buy some Hive with the liquid HBD. If Hive price continues to drop 1% the bot will again continue purchasing more Hive until either Hive price stops falling or I run out of HBD to buy. On the flip side if Hive price rises 1% the bot will automatically sell Hive for HBD and continue this process until Hive prices are stabilized. The price difference is only comparing between Hive and HBD, therefore if they are both moving in tantum the bot only trades when the delta difference is within a set spread and given in discussed example it is 1%.
Users can set their specific settings to play around but me not tech savvy I lean toward default settings and only adjust those from developer's recommendations.

With all this AI news I think average to no skills with computer like myself it would be easier to capitalize on computer bots apps/programs now than ever before.
