Splinterlands - In Game Help Really Good?

avatar

I know many players and die hard Splinterlands fans are on the games chat rooms such as discord, youtube, twitch, and even hive posts so a lot of information is found through those portals. Yet today I stumbled on something that I have not looked at for likely almost a year and notice it was pretty useful, yet have not seen Splinterlands advertise it a lot. Likely long term players may have missed this while new players have seen this.

In Game Help Button

https://support.splinterlands.com/

There is a help button in the front page top left corner. To those that never clicked on it I recommend to try it out today. The link is to splinterland's official support web site.

In the site there are multiple of links with a lot of information related to the game and some very good examples of things work in the game.

Example for instance one webpage describes how many SPS are distributed daily in rank battles. While another webpage describes how Rshares are won in detail examples.

A ton of different webpages with very informative information for players to go through and review.

Overall Site My Opinions

A lot of the pages look easy to read and very informative. Yet if I had to critic it one of the things I think could work better are the linking between webpages. Once inside any of the detail webpage it does have a better linking between articles so I don't have that much critic regarding the links, just minor when it comes to appearances.

I end it by showing what I learned today that I never really knew or found while in the chat rooms or playing the game until I used the website.

So the low power rating we see in a player for a specific league happens because either our rating or our collection power is below the current league we are playing in. For example if I have advanced to the gold league but have only a rating of 1600 I would get the low power badge.

Example here in silver league the player does not qualify to rank in the league due to their lack of collection power to qualify.

So when you have some time go check out the site and see if you learn anything new about Splinterlands just like what I learned.

I have touched that page but it does look like the UI might need some work. Then again, I learned most of what I know from playing the game and posts that I see on Hive.

I don't think I have ever visited the help section of Splinterlands. A nice to follow video tutorial would go along way with helping newbies understand the game. As more and more things get added the game gets more complicated.

That’s an excellent idea. I have seen a lot more splinterlands video tutorials on YouTube but the stream is most popular. !LOL !WINE
