Review My Oct 2025 Splinterlands Gains

Another season is over and I have some new additions to my collection even though I did not partake in modern or wild formats.

I had slowly accumulated Foundation cards and leveled up a couple of my commons to level 2. It has been a difficult path in earning Foundation cards as I have remained stuck in Bronze league but never the less slow adds of 2 to 6 cards a day is helping the cause.

It’s worth noting that I haven’t spent any liquidity to acquire new cards over the past month, even though the prices of Foundation cards have been quite tempting. Instead, I’ve chosen to see how far I can progress by simply playing embracing a play to earn approach. It’s a personal challenge I’d rather take on than risk more than I can afford to lose.

In conjunction to playing Foundation I also partake in Guild brawls which help me accumulate more Gladius cards. I had 8 cases open for the following rewards.

A decent haul with 7 rares, 2 epic and a rare gold foil for my higher rarity pulls. In eight cases that is more than what minimum I would get.

With the new additions I was able to add level up the following cards.

A level 6:

A level 4:

In total I have over 195k CP in Gladius cards.

In this past season I have also been aggressive with my rentals.

I’ve been earning DEC passively by renting out my cards at competitive rates, taking advantage of the current uptrend in DEC compared to Hive. Even though I need staked DEC for land production and other assets in Splinterlands, I’ve been converting most of my rental proceeds into Hive. It’s part of a broader strategy to diversify with the goal of building a passive income stream that can eventually sustain and support my gameplay in Splinterlands.

This ties back to what I mentioned at the beginning of the post I haven’t invested any new crypto into Splinterlands for over a month. Instead, everything I’ve earned in-game (aside from cards) has been swapped primarily into Hive. My goal is to stake enough Hive to build up HP and earn secondary Hive tokens, which I can eventually convert back into Splinterlands assets.

For years, I’ve been recycling my Splinterlands earnings, only to feel left behind every time a new card set drops. With Arcane now out, I haven’t even been able to collect Rebellion cards. So, long story short, I’m taking a different approach to see if it yields better results.

Until next time thanks for reading!!!

I think foundational battles are decent. The rewards have been dipping down in price, but it will help you out in modern later.

Knowing card prices made affordable will help in onboarding more players for sure.
