Glance Of New Land Cards

In my post yesterday I mentioned how the prices for resources are rising and today I got better understanding as to why. The official post regarding the release of new land cards about a week ago entails the required resources needed to mint the new cards.

A new resource called Cinder is also required in addition to the resources to mint these cards. What is interesting is that Cinder is only acquired through burning of legacy cards since the value of those cards in terms of DEC is greater than new cards. The bottom line is I think the developers are trying to lure players to burn off large quantity of legacy cards making the supply limited. The key group would be the Chaos cards.

In terms of required resources and Cinder to max a card it is very high. We are literally talking about $200+ per a card max. Likely whales we be the only ones minting these cards. I mean just look at required grain to reach a max common, 8 million! This does not even include the randomness of a specific common being minted which therefore will require even greater amount of grain to get exactly 400 of the exact same commons 1 bcx.

The other interesting factor to keep in mind is these cards are only useful in land. Therefore by burning cards that were able to be use in either rank battles and land production to just only be cards useful in land it sort of is backwards. Who would want to trade in cards with more utility for less? I would only assume with less the benefits for use towards land is greater.

I scrolled around in game pondering where we can mint these new cards but I have yet to find the exact route. I will likely not be minting any of these cards but take advantage of the resource price spike by selling into the demand. I may change my mind when this plays out further as we have two months until these cards no longer can be minted or all the cards gets minted before the two months is up.
