A Neat Little Earth Formation

In what seems to be a lot of low mana matches in bronze league I have learned earth splinter has a decent setup to apply with good results. No wonder why earth has so much love in it as there are formations for high mana count with use of Quora but now also realizing there are good setups in low mana count.

Formation we will be looking at is a earth with magic in focus. We start off with Obsidian as it’s a great summoner to boost magic attacks. The card is considered one of the best summoners as its used often in bronze leagues.

In the monster formation we start off with a low mana of one in Mycelic Morphoid. With thorn it’s a decent tanker even though health is just two. What helps here is that Mycelic is a blocker on first attacks while real formation of attackers are middle monster.

The core attacker of the formation coming in second and third would be
Mycelic Slipspawn and Regal Peryton. Now if mana is limited to 25 and below it may likely be single core attacker in Mycelic Slipspawn alone. In any case the setup is to have these monsters with boost magic being able to attack with the intent to kill.

Follow up with the rear includes no other than Goblin Psychic with mainly it’s tank heal ability. The goal of Goblin is to provide support to the core attackers while also providing a magic attack as supplement.

The major drawback with this formation is that opponents can anticipate on blocking such a formation if they see it used often. The approach is to use melee monsters with high attack and incorporate abilities to neutralize magic such as void.

In the end no formation is perfect but when in a bind for low mana matches such as the ones I have seen often in bronze league it maybe wise to go with this earth magic formation once in a while.
