There are a lot of ways to earn rewards in Splinterlands as Splinterlands, as it is now, is like a series of games and rewards all rolled into one universe.

Some examples are Playing and staking in Land, Soulkeep - The Splinterlands Tower Defense, having Validator Nodes and Ranked Battles.

It would take quite a while to explain all of this so let's focus on the easiest to understand, maximizing your battle rewards.

Play in Modern Format, not Wild Format

Playing in Modern Format has a lot of advantages compared to Wild Format. These advantages are very limited thought but one of them are increased rewards. If you have a huge stack of SPS, then it doesn't matter if you play on Wild Format instead. But if you don't, Modern Format will be much better since the price of the cards for Modern Format and Wild Format are almost the same.

You also need to pay $2 per season for playing in Wild Format which can be used for renting cards or buying cards instead. If you're new to the game, it would be better to play with Modern Format. If you're older player, I see the advantage for playing Wild because you don't need to rent or buy cards as you can use your older earned cards for your battles.

Use Reward Boosting Cards

If you're playing Modern Ranked Format, you should think about using gold cards. They costs more but also gives you 10% extra rewards per gold cards. Including your summoner, you can earn up to 70% more per battle when using gold cards instead of normal foils.

If you're playing Wild Ranked Format, you can buy or rent Alpha cards. These works like gold cards. They also give you 10% extra rewards per win. The funny part is that there are also gold alpha cards. Using these gives you 20% extra rewards per win so with your summoner, you can earn up to 140% more. This only works in Wild format because Alpha, Beta and Untamed cards can only be used in Wild Ranked Format.

Get to Higher Rank

Rewards earned is based on your current rating. The higher your rating, higher SPS and Glint earned per win. Based on my experience, around Gold III, I earn around 1.5 SPS per win with 60k rented SPS. Now at Diamond 1, I earn around 5.5 SPS per win. If you combine the tip with the gold cards, these rewards would be a lot more. If I am not mistaken, I accidentally used a full gold team and I got around 7.8 SPS on that battle. The glint is also the same but I don't remember mine because I don't really think about it.

You can also get rarer chest and loot at each rank up. The rewards chest gained from Diamond league is better than the chests gained from Bronze and Gold League.

Join Guilds to earn more

I recently learned this. Joining guilds earns you extra rewards. The more established the guild, the more extra rewards you gain each win.

I also think but I am not sure about this one. I think there's a time or cooldown from when you joined a guild to get extra rewards. I recently join one and don't get any extra rewards but if you look at the example above, they get extra 9% rewards for being in that guild.

Increase Stakes SPS

Your wins earns you SPS Rewards which you can claim and it would add to staked rewards. If you don't unstake, this would result in more rewards in the future.

If you want a quick boost for rewards in your battles, this is what I learned recently as well. It's called SPS Rentals.

The lowest rental price right now is 0.001 DEC per SPS. If you want your rental bid to go faster, you must offer a higher price. I usually do it at 0.002 DEC which is double so that's around 224 DEC for 15k SPS. I think that's still cheap because 15k SPS costs 139,185 DEC and you're only renting it for 224 DEC.

Each rental lasts 7 days or half a season so you can use this for a quick boost of rewards for your games.

Get on a Win Streak

This is less reliable the higher you get but if you win 3x in a row, you get a win streak which increases your rewards by 10%. I'm not sure if there's more than 10% increase if you win more than 4x but it's a free bonus since you don't need to do anything and you need to win anyways to gain any rewards.

Earn your In-Game Titles

Lastly, I encounter this with one enemy so I don't know if every single title gives you extra rewards but titles can give you extra bonus.

Titles are the extra words attached to your name. In the example above, "THE PROVEN" is a title.

You can earn this through various Splinterlands events like being on the leaderboard of the players who bought the most packs. The easiest way to get this though is buying them. What I know is you can buy them in two ways.

Through the marketlplace, OR

Through the Glint Shop
