New Conclave Arcana Abilities LEAKED and Hidden Combos You Didn't Think was Possible!

Since we've been answering the same questions over and over, let's do some theory crafting and discuss the Conclave Arcana abilities instead. Without anyone noticing, there was a huge update in the Splinterlands post. It has been updated to include the icons of the abilities giving us more information.

Abilities:

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━




Painforge: +1 power when damaged by Poisoned or Burning or hit by an ally.
One of the Conclave Arcana that has this ability is Flame For Hire, which is a fire unit. Fire element has Kha'zi Conjurer that has Incendiary debilitation. That gives burning to nearby units and can spread to other units. While you can use this strategy, I highly discourage it as the burning can spread or worse, if it didn't, Incendiary can kill you Kha'zi Conjurer making Painforge useless for the whole match.
Razi Clanktrap a Death Conclave Arcana unit also have this but you currently don't have any combos for it. What you can do though, for both Flame for Hire and Razi Clanktrap's Painforge, is to use them during Noxious Fumes rule set to make most of the Painforge ability. You can even use Lorkus as your Archon to use both Death and Fire element at the same time allowing you to use both units with Painforge.
Edit: Since Razi Clanktrap also has another ability called "Bloodline Dominion" which can only be applied to archons (aka summoners), there's a very high chance that Razi Clanktrap is an archon and the Painforge is something he applies to all of your units like how Chaos Legion ability works. I will not remove the previous comment I had with him because this is only an assumption and I might be wrong and this might be a mistake. This is just a heads up.

Reckless: Each successful attack also deals 1 damage to adjacent allied units.
I wonder if there would be Conclave Arcana units with Martyr abilities. This would be really good combination with those. If none, then Bloodline Tribute can also be a really good combo as long as you're doing a one Bloodline team.
What I want to know further for this ability is what nature would this attack will be. Does it copy the unit's attack like what happens with Blast or does it have its own attack type like Armored Strike? We'll know that after testing.

Bloodline Tribute: When defeated, all allied units of the same bloodline gain +1 health, speed, and armor and +1 power to each shared attack type.
Bloodline Tribute is the an upgraded ability for Martyr but for bloodlines. You don't need to have the units beside the units that would have this in order to trigger it as long as it has the same bloodline or have the Shapeshift ability.

Resurgence: Self-resurrects once per battle with 100% health and armor. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are reapplied. Skips turn. Deals 1 physical damage to all units.
This is just a better version of Reborn. It's that easy to explain. yes, there's an additional damage to your team and this unit does skip a turn but it reborns with 100% health and armor with all the buffs reapplied. The 1 damage might be bad but with the Splinterlands power creep, almost all units now have high health so 1 damage is not even noticeable anymore.

Shapeshift: Treated as all bloodlines.
Gramel the Hunger and Arcane Skinwalker, both Neutral Conclave Arcana units have this ability. At first, I was confused why they have Shapeshift ability and a separate bloodline but then, this is probably so the bloodline can still be used during Back to Basics rule set when Shapeshift doesn't apply.
I think it's obvious to say that all bloodline related abilities are good combos with Shapeshift like Bloodline Tribute. This can get powered up really quick if you have multiple units with Bloodline Tribute.

Final Rest: Allied and enemy abilities that trigger on defeat cannot activate.
After hyping the Bloodline Tribute, I am actually happy that they put a stopgap ability like Final Rest. This is a direct counter to Bloodline Tribute, Resurgence, Martyr, Reborn, Resurrect and abilities like that. This is a double edged sword though because you will also have to face the repercussions of not being able to use the same abilities.

Reveal: Each round applies Revealed to a Camouflaged enemy unit. Revealed units can be targeted by direct attacks.
Reveal is a good ability if it came one year before when Lily Shieldpaw exists. Once Conclave Arcana is released, Chaos Legion cannot be used in Modern Ranked Format so this ability can do good in other mode other than Modern Ranked Format. Can still be good in Modern Ranked Format but as of right now, I don't have any other ideas why I want to prioritize this ability over others. It's like Lookout ability. It's a good ability, the timing is just not great.

Relentless Strike: Attacks deal true damage. Phase and Dodge do not reduce chance to hit.
Gramel the Hunger from Conclave Arcana has this ability. It's a nice ability but I remember talking about someone that this should've been changed.

The change is that Phase and Dodge now reduce the chance to hit and works as normal but Shield, Void and other abilities that reduces damage, those abilities doesn't work against units with Relentless Strike. The unit's attack cannot be reduced unless you use Demoralize, Headwinds or Silence, whichever applies. Halving also works. You can reduce the unit's attack, just not the damage while applying it.

Bloodline Dominion: You can summon any unit of the same bloodline as this archon, regardless of element.
Bella Ratajowlski and Razi Clanktrap are both cards from the Conclave Arcana. Based on the wordings on this ability, they are most likely archons and it seems like other Conclave Arcana archons also have this ability. Just like in Shapeshift, this is an ability. That means if you are playing in Silenced Summoners rule set, you cannot use units from other bloodlines during that combat because this ability will be unusable and you have to play like normal, which is depending on which element you picked.
This also opens up future cards that has bloodlines but doesn't have the ability to play units from their bloodlines which would be interesting to see how it would affect the games in the future.

More Unknown Abilities


There are also other teased cards that we don't have the abilities yet so there seems to be more to come. It's also possible that this was just a mistake and I am over analyzing things. An example would be this Zargrul card posted by BlazeKoS in the eyecandy section of discord.

Zargrul's second ability was neither in the Splinterlands Conclave Arcana post or their abilities page. So this ability's effect hasn't known yet so far. My theory is it would be "Confuse" or has the same ability like that where if he attacks another unit, it has a chance to be confused and that unit may or may not attack a friendly unit. It's a little friendly fire. That would be interesting.


Runic Skychonk's first ability is also not mentioned or teased yet. I have zero idea what this could be but it looks like a supporting ability like Cleanse or Tank Heal based on the other abilities of this unit.


Abyssal Elemental is an interesting one. Based on the art of the first ability, this might be something that inflicts burning? It's the same as Incendiary debilitations but you put it on the enemy team. I think I'm correct on this one because of how many units have Painforge ability I've seen in the Conclave Arcana other than the ones I mentioned up top.


The third ability that looks like a whirlwind is also a new one. It might be Confuse ability, like the one I said because it's another way of how the other games show you that your character has a confusion status. I really have no other guesses on this one unfortunately.
