More About Conclave Arcana Bloodlines (And Some Features for the Future)

For this week, we will dive more on the bloodlines. Splinterlands Discord was a funny place to be. For some reason, they are so hyped about the Drakoshans which got me interested as well. Drakoshans is a bloodline for Splinterlands that will be released in Conclave Arcana and it's not a surprise that they are mostly dragon types.
@RoyalEagle even gave a screenshot of existing Drakoshans are in the game which made everyone more hyped about it.
I'll also give some of my personal perspectives because I learned a few more interesting things about bloodlines this week, some new features that may be applied in the future and what I think Splinterlands would be cool to add for the Splinterlands ecosystem to be more balanced in the future and to solve the looming power creep in the game.

Summary of Lore
Drakoshans are basically dragon-blooded humanoids. They’re tall, heavy, built strong, with dragon-like heads, scales in all kinds of colors and features like horns, claws, wings or tails. Some of them have it but not everyone has all of them. Their eyes also can be round or slit like a cat’s, usually glowing yellow or orange. They live super long, like 500 to 700 years, and they’re naturally smart and super focused on gaining power and knowledge.
The Drakoshans are family-oriented bloodline. They grow up learning that whatever they do reflects back on their whole family so they take things seriously and really commit to mastering whatever they’re into. Their society is really structured, kind of military-like, with clear ranks and roles. A lot of them do see other species as beneath them (except dragons, who they respect). They mostly live on a continent called Draykh-Nahka, especially in a place called the Gloridax Empire.

Feature Spoilers from Behind the Scenes
I also managed to get some new interesting features that may be applied during, if not the start, of Conclave Arcana - an update for the foils search result, an indicator for Bloodlines and a search function for Bloodlines.
As you can see from the above image, there's something unique in the search result for the foil cards. It says, "Black", which would be for the black foils that will be introduced in the Conclave Arcana. There's also an Arcane Foil, but I don't know if it would have a different search result for it.
On the same image, there's also an indicator for bloodlines search bar, which means we can now find all cards that have that bloodline, whether it's an Alpha generation, Untamed or any generation of the card. This would be really useful because older cards will also get the bloodlines but won't have any indicators on its card art. This would be really good in order to proceed with making a bloodline-focused build when you want to min max-that Bloodline Tribute ability. We know it works because @RoyalEagle just did the image before for the Drakoshans which is most likely from a search result.
Lastly, on the same image, you can see the word "Saurian" next to the card. This is what happens when you hover to a card. Since there would be no indicator for the card itself, they added a feature that if you hover in to a card, you would see what bloodline it is from. This feature would be a good foundation so that if there's something else new in the future that cannot be added in the card art, they can just add it in this hover section, maybe some extra tips like which card this is best partnered with for newbies?
My Personal Opinions on the Bloodlines
I hang out with the Splinterlands Discord server and some things get weirder but not in a bad way. I started asking some questions because I feel like the bloodlines released are too many for a first release.
@RoyalEagle perfectly answered my question which I didn't expect. I expected it to be a huge number like 15, but not double it.
I feel like they released the bloodlines too much in such a little time and makes things more complicated as it is. I am indeed happy of it as a somewhat veteran player since I've been playing this game for a year now but I think it makes things more complicated for new players especially since it's an introduction of bloodlines and not a continuation of it.
My Personal Opinion on the Power Creep Situation
Compare the two cards, one is from the Alpha generation and the other is from the Conclave Arcana generation. Both are considered tank units, or ones you will put in the front to serve as a blocker for your other units. The problem is that a 5 mana unit should be way stronger than a 4 mana unit but in this example, it looks like it's not that far off.
In the 5 years of Splinterlands, a power creep is to be expected but recently, and most importantly, the higher mana units are starting to become way overpowered. Take Heloise the Hollow for example.
It's a 9 mana unit that has the ability to be reborned up to 5 times, maybe more, depending on your other unit's abilities. Each death, Heloise will do an attack because of another ability. All of that packed in one unit and she's just a Rebellion unit, someone who will be forgotten in the Modern Ranked Format by next year.
I think Splinterlands should start implementing errata. Errata means changing a unit's stats or description just like in Yugioh or Hearthstone, where they update the card effects for it to suit more the recent format. I think Splinterlands should apply some changes to the old cards to make them more viable or a reprint, where they make a more advanced version of the same card from the past with updated stats. This may not be a permanent fix because there's really no permanent fix for the power creep situation but at least it would be fairer for more veteran players.

I think I made a bad example and should've compared something else closer like
Xenith Archer
Chaos Legion rare, level 2,
2 range attack, 5 speed, 5 health no abilities
vs
Canary Keeper
Conclave Arcana rare, level 2
3 range attack, 4 speed, Dispel, Return Fire
I think there's a looming power creep each season but I also might be wrong and it's just my feeling after Heloise the Hollow traumatized me
are u traumatized by HTH??
me too
ahahhahaha
