Six Months Playing Splinterlands: Time for a break - Splinterlands Social Media Challenge
Hello, everyone! Today is my last participation in the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge for a few weeks. I'll tell you why below.

Exactly six months ago, I began my adventure with Splinterlands, and I haven't stopped playing since.
Each season I played gave me a lot of experience, which allowed me to achieve several of the goals I set for myself from the beginning, such as reaching Diamond or having a good Rebellion card deck.
After playing about 12 seasons, I started to feel a little tired, and I think it's time to take a break, even if it's just for a season or two. I'm finishing my university studies and I don't always have the time to play about 50 games every two days. And when I do, it's often in the background, which ends up affecting my performance, as I'm not fully focused on each battle.

In these six months of playing, I've managed to put together a pretty decent Rebellion set deck, as I've accumulated quite a bit of GLINT while playing in high ranks.

The only thing left for me to do is to get the few legendary cards I'm missing and get better cards in their Gold Foil version, but so far I haven't had much luck with that.

I have spent all my Merits on Gladius Cases, obtaining cards that are useful in battles where the rules allow them. However, I do not have summoners with the necessary ability to include a Gladiator in combat.

The only thing I'll end up playing in these two weeks, or maybe a little longer, is the Guild Brawls format. This is because it's been quite difficult for me to get a Tier 4 Guild, which I want to keep for when I return to the game in the future.
Since I won't be renting a complete deck, I'll have to settle for using all my reward cards from the Rebellion set, plus some summoners that I'll end up renting specifically to play that game format.

Where I have made the most profit is in the SPS accumulated over this time. I remember that when I started playing, I made a small investment of $10 to acquire some SPS and do staking, which allowed me to access better rewards.
After that, realizing how expensive it was to maintain a x10 stake in leagues such as Gold and Diamond, I decided to rent instead of buying, as otherwise it would have been too expensive.
My idea was to accumulate as much SPS as possible so that in the future I wouldn't have to rent anymore, and I saved some DEC per season.

To date, I have accumulated a total of 7,153 SPS, which is currently worth approximately $50. It's not a fortune, and in other times it might have been worth around $90, but let's say it makes up for what I used to invest season after season in renting a competitive deck.

Despite my brief hiatus, I have never considered withdrawing from SPS, nor have I done so until now. My goal remains to reach 10,000 SPS, and once I reach that goal, I will decide what to do next.

It's not because of the state of the game. I've been pretty short on time lately, and having to play at least 50 games every two days is taking up quite a bit of my time.
