In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Friday of Ice Cube

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Rio Babel of the argentine artist Gustavo Cerati.

Gustavo Cerati is one of the most recognized artists of Rock en Español, if not the best known of all. His career as a soloist was a complete success and with Soda Stereo. His career left an indelible mark both in his time as leader of Soda Stereo and in his solo career, where he explored new sounds and adapted to new changes in music. With Soda Stereo, he marked a before and after in the history of Latin American music, taking rock in Spanish to international stages

I have known the band Soda Stereo since I was a kid. I don't think any Argentinean doesn't know at least one song by the band. I remember that in school events, they used to play Argentine rock songs and the one that everybody sang was “De música ligera”, “Persiana americana” and “Profugos”.

However, I didn't become a fan of the artist until two years ago. When an acquaintance recommended me his album called “Siempre es hoy”. The truth is that I ended up loving it and it was the bridge to get to know his entire musical repertoire, which is amazing. That's how I found Rio Babel, I was exploring all the songs from their albums. It was one of the songs I liked the most, from their album “Bocanada” released in 1999.

Gustavo Cerati was born in 1959 in Argentina. In his youth, together with his university classmates (Zeta Bosio and Charly Alberti), he formed one of the most legendary groups of Rock en Español: Soda Stereo. But his entire career was not based entirely on the successful group, but as a soloist he reached his highest peak.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
