Good evening everyone!

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: The Winner Takes It All: ABBA

Notorious Thugs: The Notorious B.I.G

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Notorious Thugs of the american artist The Notorious B.I.G. This is not the first time I talk about a song by this great artist, the truth is that little by little he has positioned himself as one of my favorite rappers of all time.

I first heard The Notorious B.I.G. thanks to his two most famous songs “Big Poppa” and “Hypnotize” which became classics of the genre. After listening to these songs, without knowing the artist very well, I started to familiarize myself with the story of Tupac Shakur, one of the artists with whom he was involved in a feud.

The Notorious B.I.G. (Christopher Wallace) was born in 1972 in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up in an area marked by gang feuds and poverty, he ended up selling drugs on the streets to make money.

However, Christopher had one talent and that was songwriting and rapping. So he started participating in freestyle battles in his neighborhood, which led Puff Daddy to sign him to release his debut album. His first album “Ready to DIe” was a complete success, with songs like Juicy, Big Poppa and Gimme The Loot”, as well as reinvindicating the East Coast in the rap world.

The song “Notorious Thugs” was included in the album “Life After Death” released in 1997. It became one of the best songs of the album.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application.
