Rising Star - I choose one song per day, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Nasty Girl: The Notorious B.I.G (Diddy, Nelly, Jagged Edge)

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: No te creas tan importante: Damas Gratis.

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Nasty Girl of the american artist The Notorious B.I.G (Diddy, Nelly Jagged Edge). The Notorious B.I.G. has left an impressive legacy in Hip-Hop, despite his short career due to his death by American gang conflict. I consider him to be among the top ten artists in the genre, fighting side by side with his nemesis Tupac Shakur.

The other artists were Nas, Rakim, Eric B, Eazy-E and Tupac. Among them, there was also The Notorious B.I.G., who met him specifically because of his conflict with Tupac Shakur.

I became a fan of Hip-Hop during my teenage years, initially attracted to the rap sounds of the 90s and early 2000s. During my adolescence, I forged a group of friends with whom I played GTA San Andreas, they recommended me several artists of the genre such as Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Wiz Khalifa. I remember that at the time I used to listen to them a lot.

About two or three years ago, I got back into Hip-Hop, I got to know more rap bands like the legendary N.W.A and Cypress Hill, as well as artists like Nas, Rakim, Eric B, Eazy-E and Tupac. Among them, there was also The Notorious B.I.G., who met him specifically because of his conflict with Tupac Shakur.

Christopher Wallace was a rapper from the East Coast of the United States. He was one of the pioneers of rap in his region, becoming a legend with his album Ready To Die released in 1994. His rivalry with Tupac Shakur due to problems between the two coasts of the United States, resulted in the death of both artists, which deprived us of many more works of art of these geniuses.

Nasty Girl was released for the album “The Final Chapter” released in 2005. The artist did not actually participate in the song, but recordings of him were used to create the song. It is a collaboration with artists like Diddy, Nelly and Jagged Edge.
