Rising Star - I choose one song per day, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - How deep is your love: Bee Gees

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Rio Babel: Gustavo Cerati

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is How Deep Is Your Love of the group Bee Gees.

These days I have been bringing a lot of Hip-Hop and Rock en Español songs. I felt it was time to give a twist to the song of the day selection. So I thought I'd look for something different like Pop and Disco from the 70's, 80's and 90's.

I was browsing through reels on Instagram, until I came across a post where I found the song How Deep Is Your Love accompanying the reel.The song looked instantly familiar, so I decided to look it up to listen to it in its entirety. And yes, I quickly realized that it was one of those songs that I had heard countless times during my childhood, when I used to tune in to some radio stations.

I loved the song, so much that I think it might make it into my top 30 Pop/Disco music. I've added it to my “Like” playlist and I intend to include it later in a new playlist dedicated to Disco.

Bee Gees is one of the most iconic Pop/Disco bands in history. It was formed in 1958 in Australia by the Gibb brothers (Barry, Robin and Maurice). The band covered several musical genres during their career, starting from pop to disco.

The album that brought them to international fame was Saturday Nigth Fever released in 1977. The standout songs of the album were Stayin Alive, How Deep Is Your Love and Night Fever.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
