Rising Star - I choose one song per day, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Gold: Koven

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Genius (Feat. Sia, Diplo and Labrinth)

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Gold of the british artist Koven.

In the previous post, I had mentioned that with a friend we were sharing music we had on our personal Spotify accounts so we could discover even more songs.

Near the bottom of my “Like” list, I found two songs by British artist Koven. I find it curious to have discovered her music, considering that I am not a fan of her genre and she is not an artist of great worldwide recognition either.

The truth is that I met her thanks to Gold, a song that was part of the Rocket League soundtrack for a season. I remember that I loved it from the first time I heard it, so much so that I decided to add it to my Spotify playlist along with another of her songs that I also liked.

Rocket League always stands out for having good songs every season. Usually, all the songs they usually include are Dubstep, Electronica or some similar genre.

Koven is an electronic music duo formed by the English Max Rowat and Katie Boyle. The project began in 2011 as a solo project by Max Rowat, and in 2014 was consolidated as a duo with the addition of vocalist Katie Boyle.

Koven's song Gold is part of the album “Butterfly Effect” released in 2020. That same year, it was also included in the soundtrack of the game Rocket League.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
