Rising Star - I choose one song per day, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Butterfly Effect: Koven

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Heart Shaped Box of Nirvana

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Butterfly Effect of the british group Koven.

Every time I check my “Like” playlist on Spotify, I realize the influence that video games have on it. Both games like GTA San Andreas that have stations with a wide variety of music genres, as well as games like The Witcher 3 and Kingdom Come Deliverance II, which have a spectacular soundtrack to accompany their games.

How did I meet Koven?. Koven has been part of the soundtrack of one of the games I played the most in my life: Rocket League. I used to play that game a lot, because it was moderately good, so I played most of its seasons. In one of them, I remember a lot of great songs came out, including Gold from Koven. I liked his music so much that I started looking for more of his songs, and I found The Butterfly Effect.

I consider that for artists who do not have a very large audience, being part of the soundtrack of games like FIFA, Rocket League, Fortnite or some other massive game, opens many doors to the future. Koven became quite well known thanks to his song Gold that participated in one of the seasons of Rocket League, as another artist like LA Priest with Beginning.

Koven is an electronic music duo formed by Max Rowat (producer) and Katie Boyle (vocalist). The Butterfly Effect is part of the album of the same name, which was released in 2020. It is the second most famous song of the album, only behind Gold.

Before announcing the winner of tonight's giveaway. I will share my game statistics on Rising Star, which I gathered using a tool that I created in Rising Star Utils. The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application.
