Good evening everyone!

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Take My Breath Away of the group Berlin.

Bomba de Tiempo: Gustavo Cerati

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Bomba de Tiempo of the argentine artist Gustavo Cerati.

I am convinced that Argentine Rock is on another level to the others in Spanish. It has transcended generations of artists such as Charly Garcia, Andres Calamaro, Luis Spinetta, Gustavo Cerati, Pappo and legendary bands such as Rata Blanca, Soda Stereo, Seru Giran and Los Abuelos de la Nada.

Gustavo Cerati is my second favorite artist of the genre, after Charly Garcia. The truth is that I have never explored his entire repertoire of songs, so there were quite a few that I had not yet had the opportunity to listen to for the first time or at least remember them, if I had heard them at all. This is the case of Bomba de Tiempo, a song that I have heard a few times on some radio station or on the street, but I didn't know it was by the artist.

Gustavo Cerati was born in 1959 in Buenos Aires. He was a singer and composer and one of the founders of the band Soda Stereo, one of the most important bands of Rock en Español. After the band split up, Cerati decided to pursue his career as a soloist, achieving success with albums such as Amor Amarillo, Bocanada, Siempre es Hoy, Ahi Vamos and Fuerza Natural.

Bomba de Tiempo is part of the album “Ahi vamos” released in 2006. It has 7 million plays on the Spotify platform and 500,000 on Youtube.
