In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Rio Babel: Gustavo Cerati

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Artefacto of the argentine artist Gustavo Cerati

It is not the first time that I bring a Gustavo Cerati song to one of my publications. The truth is that over time I have become a fan of all his songs and they are a big part of my playlist on Spotify. My history with Argentine National Rock starts from my childhood. I grew up with my mother, who lived the golden age of the genre and loved to listen to songs by Charly García, Soda Stereo, Virus, Los Abuelos de la Nada, among many others.

Thanks to their influence, since I was a kid I have always listened to national rock music. Mainly, more modern bands like Attaque 77, Callejeros and Las Pastillas del Abuelo, my favorite of those that are still active.

Just two years ago, a friend recommended me an album by Gustavo Cerati. Until then, I had not delved into the artist's solo musical works, so I decided to give it a try. The album in question is “Siempre es hoy”, and I ended up loving it so much that it made it into my top 10 Rock en Español albums. The album has outstanding songs such as Cosas Imposibles (my favorite), No te creo, Naci para esto, Vivo, Sudestada and finally the song I bring you today: Artefacto.

Gustavo Cerati was born in 1959 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was a singer and composer recognized for being one of the most influential figures in Spanish Rock. He was the leader of one of the most famous Spanish bands of all times: Soda Stereo. However, he also had a good career as a soloist, after the dissolution of the band in 1997.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application.
