[ENG-ESP] The dream of reaching Diamond 3 falls on the last game - Splinterlands
Hello everyone! I wasn't planning to make another post about Splinterlands this week, but in these last two days things have happened to me that are worth mentioning.
¡Hola a todos! No tenia pensado hacer otra publicación sobre Splinterlands esta semana, pero en estos dos ultimos dias me han pasado cosas que son dignas de mencionar.
One of the things I had to do these days, is to buy more or less 3000 DEC to rent cards for the rest of this season and next season. I have also left some orders to rent SPS, about 40,000 which is what I need to have good GLINT rewards this season.
Speaking of SPS, a month ago I invested $10 in SPS to improve my earnings in Bronze. Today, that 900 SPS has turned into 2,700, reaching a total value of $17.
Una de las cosas que tuve que hacer estos dias, es comprar mas o menos 3000 DEC para alquilar cartas para lo que queda de esta temporada y la próxima. También he dejado algunas ordenes para alquilar SPS, unos 40.000 que son los que necesito para tener buenas recompensas de GLINT en esta temporada.
Hablando del SPS, hace un mes invertí 10 dólares en SPS para mejorar mis ganancias en Bronce. Hoy, esos 900 SPS se han convertido en 2,700, alcanzando un valor total de 17 dólares.
That leaves me with a positive balance, because beyond the fact that most of the rewards are untradeable, you can also generate a decent amount of SPS by playing in more advanced ranks.
Eso me deja un saldo positivo, porque más alla de que gran parte de las recompensas sean untradeables, también se puede generar una cantidad digna de SPS jugando en rangos más avanzados.
On Wednesday I had not had time to play, so in these days I had accumulated 50 energy to spend on Modern Ranked.
I took full advantage to play games between Thursday and Friday, looking for the miracle of at least reaching GOLD 1 and try to reach diamond.
At the beginning, things were not going so well. I had to completely overhaul my deck and realized that some of my card rentals had been cancelled.
As a result, I had to rent new cards to improve my performance in the games. Fortunately, the strategy worked and I managed to get more wins than losses.
El miercoles no habia tenido tiempo para jugar, asi que en estos dias habia acumulado 50 de energia para gastar en Modern Ranked.
Aproveché al máximo para jugar partidas entre el jueves y el viernes, buscando el milagro de por lo menos alcanzar ORO 1 e intentar llegar a diamante.
Al principio, las cosas no iban tan bien. Tuve que revisar mi deck por completo y me di cuenta de que algunas de mis rentas de cartas habían sido canceladas.
Por ello, tuve que alquilar nuevas cartas para mejorar mi rendimiento en las partidas. Afortunadamente, la estrategia funcionó y logré obtener más victorias que derrotas.
I had managed to reach GOLD 1 which was my main goal, I wanted to take advantage of the winning streak I had been accumulating to give me a boost to try to go for the miracle: Diamond III.
Habia logrado llegar a ORO 1 que era mi principal objetivo, queria aprovechar la racha de victorias que venia acumulando para pegar un impulso para intentar ir por el milagro: Diamante III.
Things started going very well, I was winning game by game, working out a similar strategy with my Fire Deck, which is the most powerful one I have.
The miracle was at my feet, I just had to win the last game to reach Diamond III in just two months of play.
Las cosas empezaron a ir muy bien, fui ganando partida por partida, elaborando una estrategia similar con mi Deck de Fuego, que es el más poderoso que tengo.
El milagro estaba a mis pies, solo tenia que ganar la ultima partida para llegar a Diamante III en tan solo dos meses de juego.
I think that, out of excitement, I played the game quite badly, misplacing some of my cards, which led me to lose the battle.
But that was not the worst of it, the psychological effect caused by that defeat, made me acquire a losing streak.
Creo que, por la emoción, jugué bastante mal la partida, colocando mal algunas de mis cartas, lo que me llevó a perder la batalla.
Pero eso no fue lo peor, el efecto psicologico que causo esa derrota, hizo que adquiriera una racha de derrotas.
The dream of reaching diamond was quite short-lived, now I was almost at the same point from where I started. I still had 10 energy left to try my luck with a winning streak, but I resigned myself and thought it was better to rest a little to think about my next games.
It has also been a lesson for me to lose all those games. I think that, after losing the mental one, I should have taken a break and tried again a few hours later.
El sueño de llegar a diamante fue bastante éfimero, ahora estaba casi en el mismo punto desde dónde empece. Todavia me restaban 10 de energia para probar suerte con una racha de victorias, pero me resigné y crei que era mejor descansar un poco para pensar mejores mis siguientes partidas.
También ha sido una lección para mí perder todas esas partidas. Creo que, después de haber perdido el mental, debería haberme tomado un descanso y haberlo intentado de nuevo unas horas más tarde.
That's all for today. I think it was worth sharing my experience with these last Modern Ranked games. I feel like I'm ready for next season, where I plan to rent better cards and go all out to reach Diamond.
