[ENG-ESP] Splinterlands: Season Rewards, Gold II , Staking SPS and Fighting for the top 10 on the Leaderboards. Social Media Challenge

Hello everyone! Today I'm participating in Splinterlands' weekly Social Media Challenge initiative.

The truth is that I've been pretty hooked on Splinterlands these days, consuming all the available energy I have and farming as much glint as possible to improve my deck.

I have already received the rewards of my first season since my return to the game. If I'm not mistaken I was rewarded with the GLINT I generated in the ten days I played that season. I think it had been around 3000 glint, which I didn't hesitate to spend it in the GLINT store for rare Rebellion cards.

I felt that it was too little what I had been generating from GLINT for what I had been playing, and that it would take me quite a long time to upgrade my account. That's when I realized how important it is to have SPS staked to generate rewards.

By just staking three dollars in SPS, I was now generating almost five times more than I normally did. Which made me realize that, depending on the rank you are in, you need a certain amount of SPS to receive a x10 boost.

As I continued to win games in the game, I noticed that the amount of GLINT and SPS earned increased. However, the reward multiplier began to decrease, which led me to stake $10 in SPS.

I also took the opportunity to rent some gold foil cards with good level so I could easily move up in rank. I didn't expect to go much past the silver rank. However, I didn't know how useful they would be to keep progressing in the game.

I was killing it in my Modern Ranked games, which allowed me to move up from Bronze, where I started the season, to Silver I. However, the GLINT multiplier had dropped quite a bit, and I now needed more SPS staked to get the most out of it, something that was perhaps too costly for me.

While checking that, I discovered that there was a section in the game where you could rent SPS, so I rented 10000 SPS for 7 days.

I managed to get streaks of up to 8 wins, so I climbed very fast in the qualifiers. In the previous post, I had put that my goal for this week, was to reach the GOLD rank.

I accomplished my goal in record time, it only took a couple of winning streaks in the first two days in qualifiers (and spending DEC on energy) to achieve my goal.

These were my rewards in chests for upgrading to GOLD III.

It wasn't too bad, although I was hoping for better luck with the card drop.

Despite that, I've been getting very good rewards thanks to the fact that at GOLD II rank I'm getting 300 GLINT and almost 3 SPS per win, which is a very good sum.

I have gone from generating 3000 GLINT in 15 days, to generating 38,541 GLINT in 6 days. There is an abysmal difference, demonstrating how beneficial it is to stake SPS and rent cards to climb the ranks. I have taken advantage of this to buy chests and a variety of common cards.

One of the news of this new season, is that the ranking of players by the rank in which they start the season is back.

This has been very good for me, because I started in Bronze and I am finishing in Gold II in the season. Which, initially, has allowed me to reach the number 6 position in my league.
