Hello everyone! Today I'm back with Splinterlands content, where I'll make a rather curious comparison between the different game modes that are in Splinterlands. Without further ado, let's get started.

About a week ago, they implemented the new set called Conclave Arcana. The truth is that I am not yet familiar with this set and before I was barely familiar with the Rebellion set. So taking advantage of one of the announcements of the game, where the Wild mode would not be paid during the first season, I decided to give it a try.

I made the decision to rent the Chaos cards that I always used to play Wild. I have spent about 4500 DEC to rent cards of all elements. A little less than what I spent last season, when I rented most of the cards in the middle of the season, so they were much more expensive (6000 DEC in total).
My main goal is to get level 6 to 8 summoner cards. Level 8 cards can often be found for less than 30-40 DEC a day, and whenever they appear at that price, I take them without hesitation. In some elements, there is no choice but to settle for level 6 summoners, which are also a good option.
Then it's a matter of adapting to your summoners to rent cards that correspond to their level.

Now with the new cards, I wanted to try my luck in Wild mode, which I had never played before. I was curious if it was going to be more difficult because there are people with old cards that are very broken or if it would be easier because bots are allowed in that mode.
By default, the game placed me on Gold III, the same rank I finished last season in Modern Ranked. At first, I did quite well, I noticed that it is easier to win in that rank than in Modern Ranked.
What did surprise me is that the rewards in SPS dropped a lot. Before if I won a game, I could get between 2.5-4 SPS (more taking into account that I used to use a lot of Gold cards), while now for winning a game in Gold II I only get 1.3 SPS.

From what I've been playing this mode, I can highlight certain advantages and disadvantages:
Much faster games (influenced by the use of bots to some extent), you don't have to wait as long for your opponent to field a team.
You can use cards from other sets that are currently not allowed in Modern Classified.
Much easier to climb the rankings.
- -
The SPS rewards for winning a game are nothing compared to Modern Classified.
- -
The GLINT earned is also lower than that earned in Modern Classified.
Is it worth playing Wild Mode instead of Modern Ranked?
My opinion is no. I think the cost of the cards I'm renting doesn't offset the rewards I'm getting. Also, keep in mind that this time, participation is free. Otherwise, you have to put in 2,000 DEC (two dollars) to participate.
I think it's a very good option for those who own powerful cards from older sets and compete in the high leagues using this mode. It's also convenient for those who use a bot to play for them and allow them to earn rewards without having to play manually.
I've decided to rent high-level Rebellion summoners for next season because I don't think it's worth it to rent Chaos cards again.
The only positive thing about all this is that I was able to play Guild Brawl with the Chaos cards I have and get a very good reward.

That's all for this time, see you next time with more Splinterlands content!
