Queen of Darkness. Splinterlands Art Contest.
Hello My Friends.
How are you today?
- Today I'm here to share a drawing of mine with you all and also to submit my participation in the weekly art contest of splinterlands. This isn't like my other drawings. Those were fan art that I made by following other original drawings. But, this one is a legit one and not a fan art of splinterlands.
I've had this thought for so long, I wanted to draw something on my own and submit it to the contest as many others do. I've done it before with my Vampire Queen Drawing. And now I'm back again with The Queen of Darkness. I Hope You're going to like it.
I'm sharing this drawing to take my participation in the weekly art contest arranged by splinterlnds. You can also join if you want by following the rules given in the contest post. Here's the link to the contest:
My Drawing Tools:
To draw this fan art, I used a 2B pencil, a 4B pencil, charcoal, an 10B pencil, my drawing notebook, pastel colour, coloured pencils and extra tools like a brush, rubber, an eraser etc.
- First of all, I used a 2B pencil to draw the basic structure for my drawing. I also used pastel colours to draw her facial skin and coloured pencils to draw her red eyes. In her lips and eyebrows, I used a 10B pencil and charcoal combined. I also used the 2B pencil with the pastel colours in her face skin

- Then in this part, I started drawing the crown on her head. This was the second tricky part of this drawing. You'll soon come to know which one was the most tricky part. The crown had many lines. shades, designs and curves that made drawing it a tricky job. Anyway, I did it. And to complete it I used the 10b pencil, black pastel colour and my red coloured pencil.

- Her crown's final form.
- Then I draw the necklace on her neck. I think the design looks good. The Gems on her crown and necklace are part of her magical power.
The Final One
- This step of the drawing contains many parts. I drew her hair with charcoal and black pastel colour. The tricky part was to draw her dress. I made it look like a transparent dress full of designs. Drawing it like a transparent dress was much trickier than drawing the design. As the gems represent her power I used watercolour first and then photoshop to give them a glowing look. I also did the same with her eyes. I hope this final form of the drawing looks good and was worth my hard work for 2 days.
I really hope that you liked my drawing and enjoyed reading my post. And as always I'm open to any suggestion or criticism. I always try to learn from them. And thanks to the @splinterlands team for arranging such a contest for the artists to show their skills.
Thanks for sharing! - @alokkumar121
