Vampire Bat

Para esta oportunidad realicé una figura decorativa en limpiapipas del murciélago vampiro, también utilicé foami para sus alas, a pesar de verse como una criatura oscura y mala, pude realizar esta manualidad que a su vez se ve algo tierna, espero les agrade el resultado, a continuación los materiales y el paso a paso.

For this occasion I made a decorative figure of the vampire bat out of pipe cleaners. I also used foam for its wings. Despite looking like a dark and evil creature, I was able to make this craft, which also looks somewhat tender. I hope you like the result. Below are the materials and the step-by-step instructions.

Paso a paso / Step by step

El primer paso será realizar la base del cuerpo, voy formar dos bolitas de papel una pequeña para la parte inferior y una mediana para la parte superior, la vamos a envolver con cinta adhesiva transparente.

The first step will be to make the base of the body, I will form two paper balls, one small for the bottom and a medium one for the top, we will wrap it with transparent adhesive tape.

Ahora voy a enrollar en un palillo aproximadamente unos 20 limpiapipas negros, estos los vamos a utilizar para todo el cuerpo. Voy a comenzar a pegar los limpiapipas en ambas bolitas con ayuda de silicón hasta cubrir por completo ambas partes.

Now I'm going to wrap about 20 black pipe cleaners around a toothpick. We'll use these for the entire body. I'm going to start gluing the pipe cleaners to both balls with silicone until both parts are completely covered.

Luego vamos a pegar la cabeza y el cuerpo, con un limpiapipas realicé las patitas y las pegamos en la parte inferior, también realicé las orejas de forma puntiaguda cada una con la mitad de un limpiapipas.

Then we are going to glue the head and the body, with a pipe cleaner I made the legs and glued them to the bottom, I also made the pointy ears, each one with half a pipe cleaner.

Para las alas realicé la forma en foami texturizado color morado y pegamos, por último pegamos los ojitos locos. Y de esta forma terminé la figura decorativa del murciélago vampiro.

For the wings, I made the shape out of textured purple foam and glued them on. Finally, I glued on the googly eyes. And that's how I finished the decorative vampire bat figure.
