The film production 'A Castle for Christmas' is a romantic comedy starring Brooke Shields (Sophie Brown) and Cary Elwes (Myles). It is a nice movie to watch at Christmas time and get together with the family. The story tells about a famous writer Sophie Brown (Brooke Shields) who travels to Scotland, the reason for her escape is due to a scandal. After she is settled she decides to buy a castle, whose owner is the Scottish Duke Myles (Cary Elwes). When the duke discovers that Sophie is a foreigner, he is reluctant to sell it to her. A series of inconveniences arise that both Myles and Sophie constantly get along badly and clash in the conversations they have, they never reach an agreement. They have nothing in common. From the moment they meet, they don't like each other very much. They try to find or reach an agreement. And a series of arguments, entanglements, misunderstandings, etc. arise.

Myles decides to make a move on Sophie with the intention of getting her to give him an advance and tells her that he will sell her the castle but on the condition that she moves in with him in the castle. This way he has her closer and can convince her to change her mind.

Once Sophie moves into the castle, Myles makes her life miserable. But something unexpected happens despite all the hostile life Myles makes her, they fall in love. They clarify the points. Sophie manages to change Myles' attitude and they decide to have a party at the castle. They manage to spend the night together. But everything falls apart a day before the party at the castle when Sophie proposes to live with him in the castle. A series of events occur that make Sophie leave the room that Myles gave her to live in, which was the last room and she proposed to live together in the castle. The most important thing was that love prevailed. Myles seeks Sophie to accompany her to the party at the castle. She decides and they get back together Sophie's daughter also attends the party and at the castle party Sophie promotes her new novel 'Heart of a Warrior'.

I loved this kind of Christmas comedy. One of my favorite artists is Brooke Shields I liked her performance I saw her impeccable. As well as the main character Cary Elwes an excellent actor. He lived up to her. They matched their characters very well, they had a lot of chemistry. In terms of colors, music, costumes was in keeping with the cast. Excellent Scottish style setting. The scenery was sensational, dreamy, beautiful. With excellent cinematography.

I thought this movie was great because its objective is to make us happy at Christmas even though we are going through sad times. That in spite of going through vicissitudes, downfalls, this movie makes us feel different, it encourages us to be cheerful. And Christmas is a time to rejoice our soul and spirit. The most important thing is that love triumphed.
