You Don’t wanna miss playing this new Free To Play mode in Splinterlands

Welcome to my another Splinterlands blog and I hope you all are doing well in life and spending a fresh and energetic day with your loved ones. All of you must be eagerly waiting for the upcoming weekend, but for Splinterlands players, this weekend will be stressful for you. Why? Well, because the current ranked season is about to end very soon and looking at the season timer, we only have less than 3 days to reach our goals for this season, or else everything you achieved in this season will be lost after the season reset. Every ranked season is a journey for splinterlands players and for 2 weeks, they fight relentlessly for the glory and rewards, so not reaching the goal before time would waste all the efforts, not to mention the pain it brings. So, for those of you who actively played throughout this ongoing ranked season but haven't yet reached your goal, whether it is to reach a league tier or secure a spot in the top champion leaderboard, I would advise you to focus and complete your task before the season end bloodbath, which is about to start pretty soon. Now, talking about my latest activities in the game, as I shared in my previous posts, I have started playing the latest Frontier mode that was introduced in splinterlands just recently. At this point, there is no doubt that this new game mode is a big hit already and the whole community is loving it without any complaints so far.
First of all, the best feature of this new mode is that it is completely free to play! Yes, you heard me right, no need to buy cards or SPS stake - log in, play the campaign mode (also free to play) and win some foundation edition cards and then jump right into the frontier battle arena.
Now, by playing frontier mode, you can win 2 different types of rewards - the first one is daily rewards, where you can claim the reward 3 times per day and each of them unlocks after you score 5 wins in this mode. So, simply winning 15 daily matches will earn you 3 rewards.
The next one is league tier rewards, where you earn a bunch of reward boxes that include not only foundation edition cards but potions and battle energy as well. So if you are still not playing this brand new mode, what are you doing?
Apart from these 2 rewards, there is also another special reward attached to this new gameplay format, which is called the Frontier Draws. The frontier tokens that we earn from winning and claiming reward chests are actually Raffle tickets that are entries for a weekly mega draw or lottery. Every week when this frontier draw happens, some of the rarest foil foundation edition cards will be given out to winners who win from the draw and as you guessed, the more entries you earn during a week, the more your chances increase to get lucky and see your name being drawn in the mega lottery.
Every week after the draw, a total of 76 foundation cards will be given out to winning players, who will receive a random copy of black foil, gold foil arcane or black foil arcane. There are still 5,800 Black Foil, 1,442 Gold foil Arcane and 588 Black Arcane cards remaining to win and we still have another 103 draws left, so 103 more chances to test your luck. Please note that this will be the only way to receive these rare foil cards, so keep playing with all your energy and who knows, maybe your fate has already been decided in the next draw!
Now, in the screenshots above, I have shared my reward, which I earned today by playing and completing 3 reward missions in frontier mode. Gladly, I got some very good cards today, including 2 rare archon cards, 1 gold foil rare card and 3 common cards, along with 3 frontier entries. I am really happy with the outcome of today’s reward, especially with those 2 archon cards, because they are very important and must be levered up to support if using levered up monsters card in battles, so without them, you can’t advance to the next leagues. So far, I have been able to upgrade one archon and a handful of monster cards to level 2 and at this point, it will probably take several months just to build a complete bronze league level card collection. But, I am sure I will enjoy every bit of this challenging journey, not to mention the thrill of collecting those Frontier entries and keeping my fingers crossed. What about you?

Hi, the "Frontier" mode is great for newbies because it helps them learn the game, and the rewards motivate them to keep progressing.
I think it's great that you can get more copies of the "Foundation" edition so you can level up cards,
like the Archons, and have higher-level units in the arena.
I think it's incredible that they're holding a raffle where we can win a black or gold sliver. I hope to play this mode to win lots of tickets and test my luck.
